  1. Here’s my in-progress build with AMT slicks and a mild channel job.
  2. When is the Detroit Model Show? Thanks.
  3. Beautiful, inspiring build, Randy! Love the color and tire choices. So nice.
  4. Ready to start assembly. I just have to detail paint the steering wheel, front grille, and wheels still. This kit is almost Japanese-level quality and molding. A joy to work on!
  5. I have the same airbrush. Try 25-30psi and opening the trigger more to get more paint/a wetter coat. I had to do this last week to paint my Hemi with a Tamiya acrylic orange mix. Hope this helps.

Wicked! Best build of Revell’s ‘29 that I’ve seen yet! Well done, sir.
  7. Fantastic work! Looks very real. Niiiiice build.
  8. How’s this? I attached the image right from my iPhone.
  9. I don’t know. Haven’t posted a picture in a while and something must have changed. This is a Fotki image. Maybe I’ll try the site image hosting here. (If you click the photo above, you should see a regular image, not stubby.)
  10. I've been working on Revell's awesome new kit for about a month now (I only get a day or two a week to build). All parts are spray painted, it's now time for some detail brush painting, decals, and assembly. I'm hoping to have it done by Thanksgiving. I thought posting here might hold me to that! This is my first build in 3 years, so I'm keeping it close to box stock and fun. I opted to build a Charger 500 by omitting the door scoops and not using any R/T decals. Paint it Testors Hemi Orange and Lacquer Clear. Kit will be box stock except for wheels and tires (plan is to use AMT '70 Chevelle deeper Magnum 500s and L60 tires all around) and maybe a pre-wired distributor. This is a fantastic kit with great proportions, minimal mold lines and beautiful parts fit. I am loving this build, and highly recommend this kit. Thanks for looking, it's good to be back building.
  11. Beautiful build! Nice color and that grille really pops with the black wash. Mine is almost ready for color coats. I agree with you - great job, Revell.
  12. What’s the status of the old MPC ‘70 - ‘73 Firebird/Trans Am molds? Could Round2 repair those tools?
  13. The door scallops are more refined. I like them better than the ‘68/‘69 versions. This ‘70 kit is awesome.
  14. Yes, they did. It’s about half the size now and looks good.
  15. They always do!
  16. Revell ‘69 Charger 500, ‘68 Camaro SS, ‘57 Ranchero, ‘76 Ranchero. My guesses.
  17. Any day now, I’d think. Model Roundup shows “October” arrival (not “Late October” like some other kits).
  18. Mine has the AMT '53 Corvette, Jawbreaker rail, '97 Mustang, and TeeVee dune buggy.
  19. Nice box art with '68/'69 hood. Still an incorrect '69 500/'70 hood in the box though. Thanks for the great video review.
  20. Just completed a great trade with Khils . Great to deal with. Highly recommended!
  21. It is. That's the only time PayPal didn't email me. I don't know why.
  22. Log in to your PayPal and look for a payment request there. Jameston did this once with me, no email, just the invoice in my PayPal.
  23. Agreed. This kit reminds me of the Monogram '80s & '90s NASCAR kits that were the best. Well done, Revell!
  24. I messsged Tom soon after this thread was new. He said the grille was too fragile to be cast in resin.
