Revell Kevin Harvick Jimmy John's #4 Ford Fusion Kit Review
Matt T. replied to hpiguy's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Agreed. This kit reminds me of the Monogram '80s & '90s NASCAR kits that were the best. Well done, Revell! -
Model King / Moebius Joe Weatherly '61 Catalina
Matt T. replied to S. Svendsen's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
If you want to improve the accuracy of the Ventura, I understand. However, all my photo references show the Grand National Catalinas with the Pontiac script on the grille. -
Very kool! Well done.

MAD resin looks nice! Here is the Revell piece (without bellhousing, since I was mating it to a Revell '40 flathead as seen in the 1st pic). You can see the "B&M" on the trans pan in these photos.. Hope this helps. -M

Yeah, the Revell Buttera kits have a nice C-4. Doesn't the AMT '67 Fairlane GT/GTA also have one. If so, you could pirate it and still build the kit as a GTA.

Thanks for that, Bill. Very helpful! -
Neat! Nice build. IMO, the best paint scheme ever. I used to love watching that black 3 car on the track.

A member on the Randy Ayers board posted that these kits were "in port" this past Tuesday, per Dave the Model King. -

You should author a book on weathering. Your realistic weathering is the best I've seen. Well done! A feast for the eyes. -

Neat! I love the seat decals. Nice job. -
Just completed a perfect trade with Jhedir6 (David). Highly recommended trader! Thanks David.

1969 Ford Rat Rod Wrecker Rig
Matt T. replied to Chuck Most's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Very kool! Love the proportions...and the weathering, of course. -
I started assembly on mine last night. This kit is very nicely designed and engineered. The cab parts - roof, hood striker panel, and behind-grille panel - clicked together like Legos. And thanks to Chip Foose, "the look" is just right. I love this kit.

The original tool has shape issues with hood curvature, rear fenders, front fender tops, etc. To my eyes. Your mileage may vary.

Tires, and why are they "rubber", anyway?
Matt T. replied to 62rebel's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I would think this goes back to factory promos. Mold it in color, chrome bumpers & hubcaps, black tires, assemble. -

Thanks. Looking forward to your initial thoughts and build review! -

Awesome 4x4, Chuck! I love it. Really nice build. -
They'll sell a ton of these. It looks great right out of the box and sits perfect. Beautiful truck. I need 3-4 of these...

Ollie's strike again
Matt T. replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Same here (Albany, NY) yesterday . I saw your update, though. I'll check mine again tomorrow. -
Another upvote for Hiroboy. I've placed a couple of orders in the past month and, being in NY, had my items within 6 - 13 days. Great products, better service!
