  1. Oh yeah, that's cool! Ferraris, like any other car, respond well to a good wheel swap. The factories can never get it right. Those wheels are beauties. I too have a stash of Ferraris that I've yet to build. Some will be red though. Is that the Fujimi or Revell kit?
  2. Nice paintwork & wheel selection. It's gonna be a looker!

    Badillac

YESSSS! Nicely done. I like the new bumper treatments.
  4. Thanks again, guys. You got it, Irvin. I'll bring the copper highboy and that Chevy II AWB too.
  5. Very nice!
  6. Beautiful again, Izzy! Very nice shade of blue - the new owner is going to absolutely love it. Seeing the gold one again prompted me to just go buy that Revell 612 kit online. Inspiring!
  7. Looks great, Ken! Great color (as previously stated!) and I really like the wheel/tire combo. Classic Clean!
  8. Nice roadsters, all 3! And great job to Miss Kren on that painting. 8)

    '56 Nomad

Very nice! Dig those vintage "sneakers" too!
  10. Thanks for lQQkin'! More pix here: http://public.fotki.com/FiveTs/my_model_ca...32_ford_pickup/
  11. Bob, you're a braver man than I! There are so many nice bikes in that album, I was thinking when I was loading them up, "We are lucky we're not voting." I'll throw some obscure category winners out there though (purely my own opinion, your's will certainly differ). Most Brutish-Looking: Fuelish Spectator (I really like the "attitude" vibe this one puts off) Truest to Tradition: Lyle Willits' "Blue By U" (whitewalls, baby!) Coolest in its Minimalism: Craig Stansfield's "Simplicity" (dig those dual headlights too!)
  12. It's the old Lindberg '32 Pickup, not the more common '34 3n1. It just got re-released after the tooling was thought to be damaged or lost. Here's a picture of the new box: Tom at Hobby Heaven has them. http://www.modelcarkits.com
  13. BTTT... Does anyone have another e-mail for Randy besides the one on the Perry's Resin website? If so, please PM me.
  14. BEAUTIFUL!! The paint is outstanding and the wheel/tire/brake combo just makes it! Great job, Brian (as usual). Thanks for sticking with it.
  15. Thanks guys! George, the hood comes like that out-of-box, so luckily I don't have much time in it. Good thing too, since I like it better without the hood now too!
  16. Approaching completion on this one. I installed the seat & grille shell last night, after the pics. I added Revell '57 Chevy ram's horn exhausts, interior door panels & bench seat from a Revell metal Milner coupe kit, tires are from the Modelhaus. Taillights are from the Ala Kart. Paint is Tamiya Italian Red over gray primer, polished with MicroMesh cloths. I still need to fab up a white roof insert & bedliner. This is fun! Pix from our new 7-megapixel Sony:
  17. Ben, Jairus & Gregg proposed a "build-off" with a deadline of NNL West (2/3). Since the chopper kits only came out last summer, I included any chopper build that was posted in any of the forums since then. Nothing too official here. I saw your Aces Wild post from August, but the three images were broken, at least on my PC. Please repost so we can add them to the album.
  18. Six months, 22 builders, 33 bikes. We present the "MCM Biker Build-Off" album. http://public.fotki.com/crstan/revell-chop...l-cars-magazin/
  19. I don't think my e-mail's getting to you. I want to pre-order some stuff for pick-up at NNL East. Thanks!
  20. Whoa, that's bright! 8) I like the graphics and black wheels too.
  21. I love it! A beautiful replica rod.
  22. Sleek! Another winner, Ajay. Great color.
  23. Nice and clean, just like always, Zoli. Great job! I passed a New York State Trooper Charger doing speed patrol on I-90 in Albany last night. They're dark metallic blue with a yellow/gold side stripe and black wheels - VERY mean looking.
  24. Wow, those are cool, Bob! Much better than the boxtop renditions. That Charger looks great with those wheels. Outta sight!
