  1. Revell did two 1/12 choppers in the early '70s - Rough Rider & Chain Gang. They were shovelheads done up in the style of the day - king & queen seat, sissy bars, looooong forks, belly in the air, peanut tank, etc. I submitted a request on revell.com that they re-release those as a compliment to the new-style bikes. Do the same and maybe that will happen!
  2. O-reet!
  3. Tom - right on! Lyle - I hope Revell releases a tudor this summer. That would be great.
  4. WHOA! That thing would light up all four tires for 3 city blocks! Is that the Syclone kit I sent you? If so, it's great to see it in progress!
  5. Marc, that is lookin goooooood! That gold is so nice. I'm lovin it.
  6. Very cool! Nice machine work there. Keep going...
  7. Another nice one, Craig! I'm digging the minimalist look that shows off the components.
  8. BEAUTIFUL!!
  9. PANHEAD?! If so, I'll have to get one! I thought they all had the same EVO engine. Here's my Crusader kit's engine, for comparison to your pieces.
  10. Wow, Mark. You do great work. Please keep sharing pics!
  11. Nice! Great color.
  12. Oooooh, that's beautiful! I love those traditional flames that you paint and always enjoy your posts.
  13. I like it! Neat wheels too. Keep posting updates, please.
  14. Oh yeah, that's a wicked stance! I like your color choices too. That is a mean lookin' Chebby! Nice job so far.
  15. Firme! Nice build, Luis. I'd like to try a lowrider build sometime soon. And a Happy & Blessed New Year to you too!
  16. Nice tuners, Nick! I like the CF hood on the Integra - breaks up the color nicely. That RSX looks great 'bagged to the rockers. Nice interior work too!
  17. Very cool, Zoli! Yup, Andy, I think there may be a "Maryland Style" emerging here. This one, Sunchaser, BlueByU... Keep it up, guys! See youse all at NNL East.
  18. I got the jones to do this while reading Andy Southard's book "Hot Rods & Customs of the 1960s" this weekend. Towards the back there was a fendered Model A roadster channeled to the running boards. I've been wanting to do a deuce like that for a while, so I pulled a 1/24 Revell "Motorworks" roadster kit off the shelf and got to this point after 30 minutes. I still have to trim the rear fenders up to match the lower body reveal out back, but I like the look of it so far. Color plan calls for suede black paint with a gold engine & interior. Chopped windshield and go-fast goodies from the 1/24 '30 Woodie engine.
  19. Beautiful! How'd you get the wheels into the whitewalls without marring the paint?
  20. Andy, she's a beaut! Very nice color combo. I love it.

I love it! Was that at NNL East last year? If so, I gawked at it for about 5 minutes. It's perfect.
  22. Yeah, Dan! Great to see it finished. Mean & nasty, just like it's namesake. Nice work.
  23. Attaboy! Way to stick with it. It's gonna look great!
  24. That and the fat backbone are the gas tank? Either way, I like it!
  25. Thanks Izzy! And Merry Christmas to you (and all the board posters)!
