  1. Here's my entry for the build-off. If you'd like to see more of it, it's also in the 'Under Glass' forum.
  2. This is the Crusader kit with Aces Wild pipes, oil bag and foot pegs. I bobbed the rear fender, channeled the tank down a little and added seat risers to the frame. The springer frontend and handlebars are from an Imex Harley Bad Boy. Headlight is off a Revell 1/25 '32 Highboy. The primary drive covers are the air cleaner from the 1/25 Ed Roth pickup (rear) and an AMT 1/25 '53 Ford pickup hubcap mounted in reverse (front). Pinstriping on the tank is a Fred Cady decal. I had a lot of fun building this kit, and I've purchased several 1/12 motorcycle kits. My next 1/12 bike build will probably be a more "traditional" bobber made from an Imex FLH or hardtail. Thanks for looking! More pics here: http://fivets.fotki.com/my-model-motorcycl...ell_112_bobber/
  3. WOW, that is gorgeous, Manny! You should be proud of that paintjob. I don't know if I could part with one like that.
  4. I like it! Nice work, as always, Dave. Keep those wild concepts comin'...
  5. Way cool! Nothing like a channeled lakes rod with tonneau cover. That engine is on my shopping list now too.
  6. Nice work here, Mark. I especially like that Gant Chevelle!
  7. Welcome, Marcelo. VERY NICE bus!!
  8. Happy Thanksgiving, Miguel!
  9. WOW! That is neat looking. Nice body and frame work. That's one tough "boy racer."
  10. They all look good, Craig! That '32 Nomad is my fave, tho. GREAT work on that so far! Super concept!
  11. COOOOL! Your subtle modifications make all the difference - lowered seat, channeled tank, handlebars angled back. I love it! The paint is outstanding, and the drag pipes look great on there too. Thanks for sharing it!
  12. Neat! Nice job, and congrats on being recognized with the class award.
  13. WHOA! That is BAAAAAAAAD!! I've been in 1/12 chopper mode lately, but this mockup has me running back to the 1/25 hot rod kits on my shelf! Great work so far, 'Dog. I vote for candy '60s-style paint. Stoke!
  14. Lots of nice stuff there. The ModelMartin "box art" and decals look great. Onery Otto and the Center Door T are neat!
  15. Yes, some panhead covers would be great!
  16. My current favorite in the display case. Finished in January. And the "Crimson Coffin" I finished for NNL East in March.
  17. In a 1/12 motorcycle kit? Just kidding, Terry. I have an Imex 1/12 Harley kit that has some gauge decals. I won't be using them, so PM me your address and I'll send them to you.
  18. That is beautiful, and great photos too.
  19. Lookin' good, Tommy! I love that sissy bar. I may have to try that with some brass rod too. I think that springer looks great.
  20. Oh yeah.
  21. I live in NY, and I paint in my basement. It does get down to about 58-60 degrees down there by Jan/Feb. I'll offer this tip when using Tamiya or Testors small rattlecans - put them in your front jean pockets. Heat them prior to heading down, but to keep them warm for 10 mins between coats, just put them in your pockets and work on another part of the model.
  22. You've got my vote. I've seen it, but others may not have, and it's worth seeing. Please post it.
  23. Welcome, Gerry! And thanks for your extensive iHobby photo coverage I saw elsewhere.
  24. WOW!! That brass rod & sheet work is amazing! Way cool!
  25. Oooh, I forgot about that old catalog item, Lyle. Yup, that might be the way to go. Start working on Norm for that one! To steer this back to Randy's kustom - Got any update pics?
