  1. Definitely get in touch with a lawyer and get this resolved. Don't let this continue to the point where the property looses value through your neighbors negligence.
  2. I just build for the fun of it. I try and add simple details when I can to improve the appearance of the kit. I even recently started doing my own plug wires when I can (using the kit supplied distributor if it was big enough to attempt it), but I don't worry about firing order! And if a different set of valve covers adds to the style of a car, so be it. Nobody is actually going to start it up. It was meant to look good sitting on a shelf! I have seen MANY a perfect build with all sort of scale details and bravo to them. Nice to look at! But I see many so called detailers who use these aftermarket per-wired distrbutors that look NOTHING like a real distributor. So does that make it a terrible build?... I DO have a problem with tires/wheels to big to fit under a fender and be able to steer. They just look ridiculous to me, but that's because I prefer building something that looks somewhat like a real car.
  3. Been there, done that! We just recently moved and I'm missing a 65 Impala I built a while back. Have no clue whether it went missing at the old place before we moved, but I don't remember packing it and I can't find it in any of my boxes of model stuff. Weird!
  4. Color is a bit loud but excellent looking build.
  5. The wheel stance on these cars is definitely not my thing, but that is one awesome looking build!
  6. Just trying to find the time to finish this up. Hopefully this week
  7. Excellent work!
  8. Beautiful work!! There's nothing more appealing than art done in the traditional mediums.
  9. Excellent job! Great looking Gremlin but I don't agree with you on one point... this was not the ugliest AMC. That would be the Pacer!! LOL
  10. Check out YouTube for videos of dipping guitars. Really cool and you get the idea of how it works.
  11. Nice build! I recently read an article about this car. Said there were only 2 made. One turned into the bat mobile and the other...?

    70 Camaros

My favorite year for the Camaro. Nice work!
  13. Andrew these are great! My models never looked this good when I was 12 years old. Your step father got you into a great hobby that will last a lifetime.
  14. Wish I had one of those!
  15. Stunning, like all your builds!
  16. Not sure which issue of the kit this was but built about 15 years ago and it came with the double blowers and all needed components. Not a terrible kit but a real shame about those under sized headlights!
  17. Go to your local hardware store/plumbing supplies and find the correct adapters to fit the hose to your airbrush, or you can use quick couplers on the brush and hose. Hose attachment points on airbrushes are either 1/8" or 1/4". I have a small adapter on one of my brushes so I can use the same hose for all them. You can find them at Coast Airbrush or any good airbrush supplier.
  18. And the Revell kit...
  19. These are some shots of the Monogram and Revell 1/24 corvette kits. The Monogram kit has most parts in red plastic, the body/hood in white and chrome parts. The hood on mine is too small for the opening but overall the details are nice. The Revell version is molded all in white and chrome, and the hood fits a little better but still too small. Hope you can see enough details to compare.
  20. Thanx a lot for the info. Maybe one of these days I'll actually find the time to get back to building and try these tips on the old junk I have. For now I'll keep browsing for ideas and more tips! Keep up the good work guys... Ha Ha! I called building models work.
  21. Thanx everyone for the tips. All are built with regular Testors glue (the old stuff). Another question though, what is Super Clean and where do you get yours? Is this the same stuff you can use for stripping the paint off? Again Thanx.
  22. Just wondering how to take apart glue bombs and clean them up. Got lots of old kits and parts that would be awesome to re-use or re-build if possible.
