    Tim, I have yet to get a copy of your book. I am quite sure it is excellent, based on your past books and writings. I look forward to getting a copy, and I can tell you, Rex is an expert on all things Mustang. He has been a tremendous resource on all of my Mustang builds.

    This model is still waiting for paint and detailing. Its not forgotten.

    I just cut the springs from the axle, and added about 1/8 or so plastic between the springs and axle until it was my desired height.

    I stand by my comments. I have both kits. In 1968, AMT kits were state of the art. MPC was a close 2nd, Johan was a close 3rd, and Revell was not too far behind. Over the years, each manufacturer had its hits and misses. I've been at it for over 55 years, uninterrupted. In most cases, Johan did the best job on bodies. I have had 1000s of models in my lifetime, and I still have 2000 of them in my basement.

    It looks good to me. And sorry Bill, mine is getting a vinyl roof. A friend of mine had a yellow one with a black vinyl roof and interior that was simply gorgeous.

    From looking at the pictures, it looks nice. I am not sure about the interior. I always thought that the 69 Mach 1 had a distinct interior.

    I'm quite happy with mine. I didn't get the Mustang today as I am overwhelmed with Ford builds right now. I did order the 69 Mustang for a later purchase.

    I got mine today too. I am not going to start on it as I have several projects going on right not. It is a beautiful kit that puts the AMT 69 to shame. I am going to compare it with the excellent AMT 68 El Camino.
