  1. I received it, and I am quite happy. Now I have to decide if I want to do it as a Hardtop or a Convertible.
  2. The wheels in the original picture looks to me as being a set of DeepDish American Torque Thrust D wheels. I haven't seen them in scale, and I would love to see a set done in 15x7 and 15x9. These in this picture are from ZForce, which are very close, but they're not the deep dish wheels In front, but the rears are perfect, as they're meant for drag racer applications.
  3. Yes they are. I'm going to do a 67 Satellite Convertible, and a 66 Satellite.
  4. He also did those wheelcovers like the ones on your car in 3D.
  5. I have yet to use this grille, which is now marketed by Iceman Collections, but STS Decals does some very nice headlamp decals for these grilles. Overcoat the headlamp decals with UV epoxy, and you're set.
  6. I like the look of this, but I still have 4 amt Chevy Vans in my collection to build. From what I see, I can correct the foible in the grill position, and fill in the holes in the body. I like the opening doors. I hope the US version is moulded in white styrene instead of blue. I believe the Texas 3D or various Canuck 3D grilles can fit with a little modification of the body. I'm glad I bought several grilles, wheels, and Rally Wheel Sets before the Tariffs hit.
  7. From the photos, this looks like another winner. I am more interested in the other version of the kit. I pre-built, but I haven't painted my stock 65 Comet Cyclone yet. I love the way it looks, after my corrections.
  8. Amt did a promo of that truck.
  9. Years ago, I bought this raggedy gluebomb. I fixed everything, got a hood and grille from Missing Link, and now it's in primer. I'd love to have a new kit at today's pricing, but I'm convinced that's not happening. The last Nascar 71 Cyclone I bought had a set of stock 71 Cyclone Spoiler decals. It's on my list to bring back. I have a nice 429/C6 to put in it.
  10. Texas3DCustoms is going to release a 57 conversion transkit according to their Facebook page.
  11. I'm in complete agreement with you, as I bought the same setup for a future project. Also I saw on Facebook that Texas3DCustoms is doing a transkit to convert the AMT 60 Ford Pickup to a 57. From the photo of the prototype, it looks excellent. I'd like to see a 58 and a 59 myself.
  12. When I bought my Mobieus 65 Comet Cyclone, I took the body out and looked it over and compared it to my original AMT 64 Comet Caliente. Since I noticed there were some differences, I decided to look at photos of 65 Comets on the internet. I decided that the AMT roof was more true to the car, but the Mobieus roof was not too far off. I did a little "bodywork on the sail panels, and the rear part of the roof, and it was fine. Also I adjusted the stance to my liking I'm going to be a customer for the Mobieus 64 Cyclone, as I will make adjustments where necessary.
  13. The AMT 71 Charger R/T kits had a split bench seat with a center armrest. When I did my Hemi Charger model, I did it as a replica of an actual car that had Bucket Seats with the "buddy" seat/ center armrest. I reupholstered the AMT 71 Duster bucket seats and the AMT Dodge Charger kit back seat to match the factory pattern. I cut up the kit bench seat. and added sheet and half round styrene to make an accurate "Buddy Seat)
  14. I've never seen one in a kit. I made one myself for my 71 Charger R/T Hemi.
  15. I have an unbuilt 73 Charger in the collection. I never opened the bag thevparts are in.
  16. Now I know that I wasn't crazy for buying a stock 74 Charger body for my used 74 Super Charger built-up I got from a good friend. Also, I bought a resin flat and domed hood, proper center cap rallye wheels, and Keith Marks Charger Rallye decals. I also have a mint in box 73 Charger kit. I'm tempted to re-do the guts, using the AMT 71 Charger R/T. I'm glad I bought some extra 71 Charger kits. I still have a 72 Rallye to resurrect.
  17. I haven't picked up my kits yet, but I did get some grilles from Canuck 3D for my.projects. I sold a few of them as new and used cars when they were new. I even had a black and silver one for a demonstrator in 1981. I'm building a model of that, but I'm going to bring it to 2025.. I have several sers of 3D printed engines and wheels and tires. I'm so glad this kit is what it is.
  18. I wish I lived near the store. My wife will be able to find me there.
  19. Looks great so far. I love the concept.
  20. My best friend sent me a black one. Gorgeous!
  21. Mine came in the mail last week. I am very impressed.
  22. He did a fine job on this one. I have several AMT 68 El Camino kits, including the last issue of the street machine. I plan to use some ZForce Modelworx wheels and a Texas 3D LS engine and Transmission.
  23. Canuck 3D has the 98 up interior parts for the AMT 90s S10/Sonoma/Blazer trucks, as well as the grille/ headlamps for the same. I'd love to see a full detail 4 door Blazer/ Jimmy. I have several of those kits. They're very nice.
