  1. Absolutely beautiful!
  2. Excellent work by a true artist!
  3. Those are very good kit's, and I'm happy that they will be back on the market.
  4. Do you mean a set of these? I detailed them several months ago.
  5. I had a busted up resin 68 Impala Fastback. So I combined it with the AMT 67 Impala SS427. I still have to work out the firewall and windshield wipers. Also, I want to redo the fender louvers. What do you think?
  6. I bought the kit, and it does have the C stripe Decals. When i built this version as a XL/GT Convertible, i wanted to use the gold C stripes from Keith Marks, but they disintegrated, so i left the stripes off of my build. However, it will now get its stripes in white, as the latest version of the kit has both black and white C Stripes. Thank You Round 2. The wheelcovers came from Missing Link Resin, where i modified the centers to look more like the Ford Wheelcovers.
  7. I wish you luck, as I have been happy with the beautiful pieces I got from Olson Brothers.
  8. And no, I am not an agent for ZForce. I happen to be a very satisfied customer.
  9. While the incorrect grilles in the kits were not a deal breaker for me, these grilles are a welcome addition for the appropriate kits. They are very well done. I didn't mention the wheel sets in the first post. They are scaled out to 21 x9 in the front, and 22 X 12 in the rear, with low profile tires, with each of the three hubcap styles offered by Mobieus on their 67 through 69 Ford/Mercury F100 kits. These wheels are very well done in my opinion. If you are into this style of wheel and tire set, go get them before they're gone.
  10. The original Mobieus Ford Ramp Truck was a 1967. This one is a 1969.
  11. 1967 Drawing 1968/69 Standard Grille on body. Note the correct size headlamp doors. It comes in bare resin, and can be painted white for the base truck, or your favorite plated finish for the uplevel trucks. 1968/69 Ranger. Note the crisp cener emblem. 1967 Standard and Ranger The grilles look great, and use the kit's headlamp and parking lamp lenses. For now, the grilles are available at the ZForce website.
  12. All of the 1968 through 1972 Chevrolet ElCamino had framed side windows with Vent Windows. The 1968 AMT kit is correct in that aspect.
  13. I bought one when the kit first came out. To me, the wheels were the only turnoff. However with the availability of 3D printed wheels and other accessories such as an excellent manual transmission, this fine kit will get a second look. I like the supercharged big block engine. These Schott wheels from ZForce that I detailed are among the wheels I am considering for the build.
  14. Looks nice. Where did you get the 3D printed ram air underhood plumbing?
  15. Recently, I bought a builtup Convertible at a decent price, as the price of them are incredibly high in my opinion. I remember building a convertible when I was 10 years old, and painting it Testors Transparent Green. Yeech! The one I have now is getting stripped and disassembled. It wasn't built well, but I can make something decent out of it when I rebuild it. Also, I have a Motor City Resin Hardtop, which is an excellent casting, but it has no chrome plated parts, but that's no problem either. I'll welcome a new kit if it becomes available.
  16. I still have my original issue 68 El Camino street machine in the basement. When the kit originally came out, I built a stock one in a factory correct color I ordered from MCW. Also, I have the version with the soap box derby car, and one more unbuilt one and a resin flat hood and photoetch emblems for the build.
  17. Looks great! I just got a kit for myself. I live near College Park, MD., and I have seen that truck a few times.
  18. I bought a 3/4 ton chassis for one of my 67 Utility trucks.
  19. I built that BMW 750iL several years ago, and I plan to give it a clean up, and maybe some updated wheels and tires. It was not an easy kit when I built it, and I was at the top of my game 25 years ago when I built it.
  20. I bought one myself, and I'm quite happy with it.
  21. That's great. I hope to be able to utilize the service. I'm still going to use my Revell Chrom Spray and chrome acrylic markers for parts that are not going to be overly handled, or not meant to be really brilliant.
  22. That is fantastic news about the multiple sets of wheelcovers in this kit. The last time I saw those wheelcovers was on a 65 Valiant Signet Craftsman kit.
  23. I have bought from both JoHan groups. I truly don't know who has the actual rights, but I tried to buy from Okey earlier this year with no success. The folks at Atomic City filled my needs as best they could, over 90%.
  24. The Model Cat Garage 65 Satellite/Belvedere photoetch set has the V8 Fender Emblems. The Little Red Wagon Kit has a 273 engine. Also VCG Resins has a very nice small block Plymouth/Dodge engine in their line.
