  1. I love it!!!
  2. All of them are beautiful!!!!!
  3. Thanks Tom, and I hope to see you next year. Happy Holidays!!
  4. Harry, Thank you! The wood panel decals are from Firebird Design. They work well if the directions are followed.
  5. You know I like it!!!!
  6. I finished the wagon last night. Originally, it was going to be a 327/L79 engine, but I decided to go whole hog, and do it with a 427/390 V8 with a 4 -speed. While the powertrain combination was not listed in the factory literature as a RPO on a Chevelle, it was possible that such a beast could be built from the factory, or a local transplant. One of the techs at our dealership did such to an El Camino.
  7. I am shocked that I did not see this one earlier than today on the board, even though I have seen it in person. AMT should have used your car for the box art. It looks that good.
  8. I'm digging all of them, especially the '59 Fleetwood Sixty Special.
  9. I finished the wagon this evening. I am happy with the way it came out, and I will post it "Under Glass" tomorrow evening after I take a few pictures.
  10. Kevin, It looks to me as you are doing a pretty good job on this one. There is not a lot of information on the 1967-73 Plymouth Valiant 4 door sedans, but I found this site that can help you with some of things Bill Geary mentioned about the rear window area. http://www.valiant.org/chron.html Your work is great so far.
  11. This is the best one I could find. I hope it helps. The other cane is on the seat backs, surrounded by the chrome mouldings. It is approximately 15" x 15" on the real car.
  12. Excellent work. I love all of them.
  13. That is a nice one!!!
  14. Well. I did some work on the wagon tonight. I polished out the paint and Bare Metaled it. I got it up on its wheels, and it looks pretty good. The interior is 90% complete, I have to find my seat belt material and install them. I ordered some wood-grain decals, as I did not have enough on hand to do the car. It should be here in a few days. . The interior is done, and looks pretty good. with any luck, I should be finished with it this week. As I wrote earlier, the budget is restricting what I am doing on the project, and the wood grain decals broke the bank. I also decided to take the model in a slightly different direction, which I am going to keep quiet about until I unveil the finished model.
  15. I was determined to get 'er done. Unfortunately for me I have several projects that are in various steps of being built. Most of them for paint, as I have a hard time deciding on a color, or which one to finish. Fortunately for me, if I did not buy another model, I have enough projects to last me a few lifetimes.
  16. I believe that the factory offered vinyl roofs in Black or White only in 1965. A friend of mine owns this car, which his family bought new in 1965, and he restored in the late 1990's. The car never had a vinyl roof. While I am sick of Black, I am going to do mine in Black, with a Black Vinyl Roof, and a Saddle interior, with the Cane accents. I like the look if this one so far.
  17. Al, I know you will do this one justice. I bought this one about 30 years ago, and it was not cheap. It was a new kit. Since I hung out with the likes of Bill Geary, I thought that I would try my hand at a better detailed model with opening doors and trunk. I brought the project to the Toledo NNL, and of course I was encouraged to finish it. During the course of the build, I decided to use the chassis, drive-train, and floor pan out of the then new AMT '62 Catalina. Of course I had to scratch-build nearly the entire interior. Over the course of the build, I broke the A pillars, the rocker panels, and vent windows. It took me almost 3 years to get it done. I love the model, but I will not attempt such a feat again.I did not even put mirrors or door handles on it. I have another '64 GP, and this time I am going to do it from the box.
  18. I did a little work on the wagon the past few days. I "reupholstered" the seats to the '67 Pattern. I also did the doors I decided on Black for the interior, and... Emerald Green fro the exterior color. While it is not a Factory Standard color, it looks as if it is going to fit the concept. I used what I had, and I have to clear it in the next few days.
  19. Speaking of the '74 Roadrunner, I combined one of AMT's 74 Roadrunners with a '71 Charger, and I ended up with this. I am going to do the same with a MPC '72 Body I have, and a resin '72 Roadrunner. I love those kits. that kit.
  20. That looks great. I remember getting one of them on Christmas 1965. Spent the day building it, just to have my cousin come over and break it. It took a long time to get over that, but at least I was able to fix it. I have one in the basement in a box that I built in 1977. I may get it out and restore it to the 1977 build if the paint polishes out.
  21. Here's mine. I have not figured out which Dodge I am going to do yet.
  22. I like the idea of doing it as a Savoy.
  23. I'm watching this one. Very nice work!!!!
  24. Incredible!!!!
