  1. I sprayed on the first stage of primer to find any additional flaws or seams.
  2. Heres an updated pic of the 330. The interior parts are still curing so i can spray on some Testors Dull-Coat to flatten the red to make the interior realistic.
  3. Heres some pics from last nights club meeting. Heres the link to the rest of the pics from the meeting. I hope ya'll enjoy if anybody from Louisiana come on down and join our club. http://s239.photobucket.com/albums/ff189/lsufan70072/Flying%20Tigers%20Meetings/
  4. Declan- Those valve covers thats on the Hemi are resin pieces from Competition Resins and the Hemi is from a AMT 69 GTX kit the kit comes with a 426 Wedge engine which i'd wasnt happy with so i'd went with the newer Hemi.
  5. George- The Hurst wheels are on there for mockup purposes.
  6. I'd just got my Boss 429 engine from member Phil Harkins and now i can test fit that sucker in the Torino thats gonna be the fun part. BTW Eric nice pic of that Hemi.
  7. Heres another one of my builds that im working on i might get this one finished by the end of the week. Im building it OOB except for the Torq Thrust D wheels from a Revell 68/69 GTO kit. The paint id used is Rust-Oleum "Metallic" Copper Metallic paint which looks cool i was gonna go with their Gold Rush Metallic paint but i'd ran out so i'd chosen this shade.
  8. Heres some progress on the Chevy the Turquoise paint that i'd applied back in February of 2009 went south it started showing bubbles so it went in the Purple Pond im planning on going with the primered look the paint that im gonna use is Dupli-Color Hot Rod Gray Primer which looks black almost.
  9. Heres some progress on the 330 i'd painted the body, firewall & inner fenderwells with Rust-Oleum Sunrise Red it took four paint attempts to get it right now i'd need to paint the interior the same color except gonna dullcoat it to give it that flat look and ditching the kits bench seat & rear seat in favor of a set of bucket seats from a Revell 68 Charger and no back seat drivers.
  10. Heres where im at so far into this build i'd got the body in primer, mini tubbed the rear in order to fit those wide Mickey Thompsons on Centerlines going a little old school on this one i'd dropped the pro-touring idea im going with the street machine look.
  11. The Torino is looking great, Mike im building one just like yours except im going with a Boss 429 ci under the hood and using the kits 428 ci CJ in my 56 Ford Pickup. Im gonna have to try that aluminum foil trick thanks for the tip, my friend. Keep up the great work.
  12. Heres some progress on Maggot's Firebird the body work that i have done to it back in 2008 was starting to crack i'd seen why i'd used Bondo Spot Putty i could kick myself for using it so i filled in the roof but this time with Apoxie Sculpt and added some drip rails & windshield frame with .020 x .020 square rod the rear window molding is gonna be the fun part. The frame has been repainted with Rust-Oleum "Textured" Black which i use on all of my frames its starting to become my signature paint for frames.
  13. Heres a project that i'd started on over the weekend just for kicks. Im planning on going with a Boss 429 ci engine under the hood to replace the kits 428 ci CJ engine which is gonna be used in something else and give this Torino the pro-touring look but not sure yet i'll wind up changing things over as it progresses.
  14. That truck looks awesome, Pat keep up the good work whats gonna be under the hood on this one. Did you have to use a donor kit for this if so what did you use and again she looks awesome. Like Goldmember will say "I Like Gold".
  15. Joe- Its the Lindberg kit thats the Color Me Gone version.
  16. Heres my latest project that im working on little by little. Heres a few progress pics so far.
  17. Heres another project that i'll wind up taking my sweet ol' time finishing due to the number of body modifications. The kit im using is a Revell 69 Corvette Coupe. I was told on the forum that a Revell/Monogram 78 Corvette i thought of that but after looking at Unique Movie Cars' website it was a 77 model the louvers in the back was installed on the car to appear newer.
  18. I'd finally have this one in paint thank goodness for that i'd used Dupli-Color Bahama Blue Metallic and used Dupli-Color Clearcoat to seal the deal its close to being finished i might have it finished by the end of the weekend.
  19. Im in a pickle on an upcoming project of mines. What kit can i use for the rear section im using a Revell 69 Corvette as a base. Heres some pics of what im working on.

  22. Heres the latest on the Wagon i think i got the body work on this one just right this project has practically make me go stir crazy. I'd used some Aves Apoxie Sculpt 2-part expoxy to fill the tailgate & the seams on the cowl induction scoop that i'd grafted onto the kits hood. I ougha have some paint on it for the last time by next week.
  23. Heres my latest project its Mickey Thompson's Grand Am which he used for the 1973 season. Im working on this one little by little. I got this kit from member Matt Leblanc at the Tigerfest show two weeks ago. What ya'll think.
