Eleanor is back in primer again a fly landed on the fresh paint i laid on it i tried to repair it but that made matters worse so i stripped off the paint, cleaned it real good and primered the body. Jairus- Thanks for the info i did a some research on Eleanor according to wikipedia. Eleanor in fact started out as a 72 Fastback with a 302 ci. H.B Halicki secretly built a modified 351 ci Windsor engine with a 4 Barrel carb. The engine i used came from a Revell 65 Mustang Fastback which is a 289 ci but the 302 & 351 is identical this is the closest engine i could get in a kit thats close to a 351 Windsor. I got the dogdish wheels from Morgan Automotive Detail or known as M.A.D a nice quality set of resin wheels but i did a small modification i added a set of chrome lips from a set of Centerline wheels from a Monogram 70 Chevelle kit. -
More Progress On The Vette I Changed The Wheels Which Came From A Revell 67 Chevelle I Find The Rallye Wheels Look Sexy On The Vette So Theyre Gonna On There For Good.

I Know This Is The Worse Kit In Captivity That AMT Released So Im Gonna Detail This One As Best As Possible. Im Converting This Once "Dukes Of Hazzard" Kit Into A Charger 500 Because Of The Rear Window Issue. The Wheels Came From A 69 GTX.

More Progress On The Scout I Filled In The Front Bumper Notch With Styrene And Filled In The Seams To Make Her Smooth, Added A Set Of Fender Extractors From A 79 Trans Am & I Fabbed A Roll Pan From A 86 El Camino Rear Bumper Which Was Trimmed To Fit The Scout And Filled The Seams. I Came Across This Idea When I Was At Wal-Mart I Went Over In The Crafts Section. I Found Some Heavy Chain That People Would Make A Necklace Out Of And For The Tie Downs I Found Some Eye Pins. And To Make Hooks I Found Some Lobster-Style Chain Clasps and 6 & 8 mm Spring Locks They Look Like Miniature Key Chains. I Bet Another Method Has Been Done Before I Figure I Would Pass This On. If Anybody Else Has Any Better Ideas Pass Them On.

Heres Some Progress On "Eleanor" I Installed An Engine Bay From A Junk Revell 69 Mustang For Detail Purposes It Was A Pain To Install It Took 2 Hours Of Cutting, Grinding, Sanding & Fitting But It Was Worth It Next Is The Engine Which I Plucked From A Revell 65 Mustang To Represent Eleanor's 351 Ci Windsor Engine. In Order To Do This I Have To Use The 65 Mustangs Motor Mounts To Remedy That Problem. -
