  1. Ugg. Hate to be a Debbie Downer but those sidewalls on the kit tires look really tall to my eyes, compared to the box art and other pictures I`ve seen of the 1:1 car. What do you guys think? The rest of it looks incredible. I`ll definitely get at least one of these.
  2. I`ll be getting one too. Not too many options if you want to build an `81 Z28. I can get real tires from another kit in the stash.
  3. WHEN? Also, I hope the wheels and tires look like that (correct proportions). Remember the truck tires on the Revell Challenger...
  4. Anyone know where the ‘85 Camaro and the 1/16 Firebird GTA kits are?
  5. Any word on this one? Will it be out soon enough for Christmas?
  6. I am hoping this one, or one that allows a factory stock build. Some of the kits in the 78-81 timeline have some horrendous body packages IMO...
  7. 🤯🤯🤯 Ok then. This is a must have! Hopefully it makes it out by Christmas.
  8. Yep! This was a great kit: Also, I really like the 80` Revell funny cars and dragsters, but all of them come with undersized tires that scale out to 30" (should be 36").
  9. Does anyone know if we will get multiple color scheme options with the decals?
  10. Looking forward to this one. Very interesting that the builder of the promo car above didn`t address the notorious rocker panel divots. For those unfamiliar with the kit, it has lots of moving parts. The doors open, the t-tops come out, the hatch opens, the headlights open, and it has poseable steering. For me, I build them with everything glued shut.
  11. There are a few sellers on EBay now willing to ship to the states for a reasonable amount. 👍😎
  12. Got mine as well. Very excited to have a mint one of these to build now. Jfyi, the bird is different colors in this one compared to the ‘87 release of this kit. It not has more blueish/grayish feathers, where as it used to be brown/tan and gold.
  13. For those looking, a few showed up on eBay today with shipping to the US.
  14. Thanks nightowl. I find it really interesting that they are only releasing this in Europe, while it is a very iconic car (and kit!) in the states.
  15. Anyone have any luck getting one in the states yet?
  16. X2. Joe Dirt would be awesome. Although his car had the turbo wheels, so it wouldn’t be totally accurate. Do we get the bird in multiple colors?
  17. This subject was not even on my radar, but that is cool!! It looks like the wheels are brand new, and not just recasts of the ‘70 kit, which I always thought were just a little big and a lot shallow. Maybe this kit’s wheels will look good on the old kits?
  18. I was never a big fan of the kit itself, but in my opinion the wheels are much more accurate for the late 70s/early 80s funny car kits from Revell than what comes in those kits.
  19. To my knowledge, this is the only Firehawk kit we have to choose from. It was decent, lots of nice detail. Unfortunately the wheel and tires are just a little off proportionately. If I ever get time, maybe I will try to print and cast some wheels and tires that are perfect proportionately. I also wish Revell or AMT would convert one of their f-body kits to a Firehawk.
  20. Anyone seeing or hearing about the big ‘79 Trans Am kit? It was supposed to be April/May 2022.
  21. Maybe I missed it, but did you guys see this:
  22. Bumping for any updates. I am seeing May as the release date some places, others as far away as December.
  23. I wonder if the big 1/8 Firebird Trans Am kit will be released in the US eventually.
