  1. Not sure of the kit they're available in, but someone on here was casting them in resin, can't remember who though. I bought a couple sets off him a while back, nice pieces.
  2. I'll be buying this kit just for the box art. It will never be opened, just sitting on a shelf with the rest of the Christine collection.
  3. I can't say anything that hasn't been said here already. I have a similar situation. My wife sleeps a LOT. She suffers from depression, among many other things. There's no guarantee your wife has the same problem, but I would suggest you talk with her and tell her your concerns and then ask her to see a doctor. Tread lightly though because if it is depression the wrong words could cause a downward spiral.
  4. So she's a lefty? LOL I played the violin in elementary school. It was pretty easy to learn, too bad I gave it up as I got older.
  5. YES, YES, YES. I wish they would. This was my first car.
  6. Thanks for all the help guys. I have a front end (half shafts and differential) from the 96 blazer that I might be able to make work.
  7. A body lift is an option, but I don't think the AMT chassis would look right since the floors are molded to the frame.
  8. I had thought of that. What about 4x4 running gear? Any ideas? I've got a transfer case, but what about the half shafts and differential? How could I do those with the way the kit suspension is?
  9. Not much. Maybe just a little higher than stock. Would like to do a detailed 4x4 but I'm not sure what's available that would work for that year truck.
  10. I want a mild lift but don't want to use leaf springs in the front. Any ideas?
  11. I've been doing that for a couple years. Works great.
  12. Finished this one up about 30 minutes ago. Last one for the year. Just noticed I forgot the turn signals and exhaust tips.
  13. The Revell kit has an engine.
  14. When it comes to Ebay, stuff is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Example: 2 of the EXACT same kits, SEALED, ending within one hour of each other. One sells at $15, the other sells at $30. Most of the time it comes down to either A.) Someone doesn't read the full description, or B.) they REALLY want it.
  15. Mailman has been good to me over the last couple days. 4 cans of Hot Rod Gray primer, 4 cans of black primer, $40 shipped. Mustang, $18 shipped, Monte's were $8 each.
  16. I couldn't sit on here with no power. My modem has a battery backup, but my router doesn't. I guess if I plugged my computer directly into the modem I'd be OK. BUT, I do have my phone, which is a computer in itself. LOL
  17. I COULD have gotten a pic, but I was too bust trying to drive in it all night. LOL We got 7 inches in the last 10 hours. Doesn't seem like much, but when you gotta drive in it NON STOP it's ridiculous.
  18. I got this from my mom and step-dad for Christmas. Viper 2 way alarm/remote start.
  19. Thanks guys.I think I might actually get it finished this time. LOL Got it cleared, and the stance is set.
  20. This one has been sitting in the box for about 5 years, ever since I had to strip the paint on my first try. Decided it was time to finish it. Originally bought to build for my wife (she's in love with the newer Mustang's). Found a nice set of Aoshima wheels in my stash that fit it quiet nicely. Paint is Pactra Purple Crush over Duplicolor Hot Rod Gray sandable primer. Note the Hello Kitty fender badges. Need to pick up some more clear while I'm out finishing my Christmas shopping today.
  21. Yeah, that's where they were last year too.
  22. I gotta take my daughter shopping for the wife tomorrow. Maybe I'll stop by there and see what they have. Can get a can of primer while I'm there too.
  23. That's pretty cool. I think this same method could work for a muddy look on an off road build too. Just use tans and browns, and put the body in upside down at an angle to give it the illusion that mud was thrown up from the ground.
  24. I got lucky and snatched this one up for $19.99 shipped. Wouldn't mind getting a couple more.
