  1. Didn't make enough over the last few days, so I won't make it. Hope to make it up there in the fall though.

    Lexus GS400

Finished another one. Still need to find a suitable plate.
  3. I wish I had a well stocked LHS. They used to have 20x6 foot section full of kits. Now I'm lucky if they carry 30 kits at MOST at any given time. That's why I choose to shop online. Fun fact: Their suppliers happen to be Tower Hobbies and Hobbylinc. If I need a kit they don't have in stock they'll order it for me, but I can get it cheaper elsewhere. It's not like they'll close up shop if they stop carrying kits, because they're biggest business is baby stuff and LOTS of other kinds of toys anyway.
  4. The bench, right after I bought it a few months ago. This is a few minutes ago, looks more used now. LOL And of course, the stash.
  5. Siim, before you foil, lay down a thin coat of clear, that'll help. I always clearbefore AND after foil. Never had a problem with the foil pulling up paint doin it that way.
  6. Hobbylinc.com Jimnohio.com modelexpress.com scaledreams.com hobbysearch.com modelhaus.com scalemodelingbychris.com and of course my all time favorite, EBAY
  7. "ONE OF THESE DAYS ALICE, ONE OF THESE DAYS...................." LMAO
  8. I'm hoping I can make it. Depends on the kinda $ I make today and tomorrow.
  9. I've got an old Solex. It's in DESPERATE need of restoration.
  10. I kept looking at the Jada ones, but didn't really want to spend $50+ on one.
  11. Thanks guys. I thought I wouldn't really have the patience for this, but it wasn't that hard.
  12. I thought this kit would be the perfect canvas for practicing some patterns. In primer and silver base. Taped for first pattern. After gold coat, second pattern and top coat. I think it came out pretty darn good for my first try.

  14. There are some out there, I've seen them on Ebay once in a while. However I believe the caster has gone out of business, hence the reason they're scarce.
  15. You can clone a car all you want, but when it comes to changing numbers, watch out. Can't believe he actually thought he could get away with it.
  16. Thanks everyone. The interior was an after thought. When I started this I was just messin around with a red sharpie. After I looked at it I remembered I had some brandywine flocking. Turned out pretty good. It's definatly a combo I'll use in the future. The wheels are resin Alcoas from our very own Ryan Silva, they're made to fit the kit tires. There's some on Ebay right now too.
  17. I like the Xacto brand blades.
  18. I haven't used it yet (I plan to), but if you step up to laquer, Pactra has a few candies. I know a LOT of guys who use it. I mostly use Duplicolor, so you could use that as the base.
  19. Finished. This makes #4 for 2012.
  20. Thanks. Again would like to make it clear I didn't build it. I don't want to take credit for someone elses work. I'm just gonna detail it.
  21. This is still in the works. Pretty much just needs paint. Sent the Dodge to a guy on Ebay and he stretched the frame and built the rollback for me.
  22. This was a quick build since the truck is a promo. Picked up the self loader from a guy on Ebay (as well as a rollback).
  23. Interior is done as well.
  24. Got it in primer acouple days ago. Silver base coat yesterday morning, taped and sprayed top coat (Testors Revving Red laquer) last night after work.
