Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Yes, it went together VERY well.
I'm in the process of finishing up my 62 Impala right now. I'm on a roll this week. LOL
For the most part I open EVERY kit I get, unless it's one that I have many of. For instance, when I got the Italeri Pete 378 I waited a WHOLE DAY before I ripped the plastic off. I couldn't wait any longer. LOL
Just google bagged truck and you should get some really good reference pics. You should also be able to google the specific style/type of truck you're building and it should give you clear pics.
My daily.........
2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT.
List of mods:
Eibach 2 inch drop on all 4 corners
17 inch ASA EM9 wheels with Kumho tires
FULL Borla exhaust
Halo Projector headlights
Altezza tail lights
In dash DVD (not pictured)
K&N drum air filter (significantly increases horsepower and gas mileage)
I'm debating the same thing on my current build. Even though I've wired the engine (including running the battery cables the correct way), numerous p.e. parts, etc. I'm still tryin to decide whether or not to add the alt. bracket. LOL
Rick, those are nice little cars. I had a 96 a few years ago, in fact it was that same color, LOL. Kinda regret gettin rid of it, but I love my Grand Am now.
I don't know much about the Italeri kits, but I've only seen this one for $100 or more. If I could get this kit for $70 still sealed is that a good deal?
We had a Quality F & F here (later turned into a Tractor Supply). They never carried kits, but always did have a nice selection of 1/64 Ertl DC, of which I was collecting at the time.
