  1. When using Propel, have the can sitting in a shallow bowl of warm water. It keeps the can from "freezing" while spraying and you'll have less of a chance of losing pressure halfway through the project and messing up a paint job.
  2. Actually, I had pretty good results using the Propel. I have since discovered DupliColor though, and won't go back to air in a can. When I decide to "airbrush" again I will buy a compressor.
  3. Pegasus 19" Diablos.
  4. Would there be a way to alter the software so that you HAVE to supply your name when you register, and then the name is automatically supplied in the proper area?
  5. I would like to finish at least 6 builds, 1 every 2 months.
  6. I don't have any stores near me that sell any of it either. I buy mine from Hobbylinc.
  7. Me thinks I need to swing by Meijer in the morning.
  8. Thanks for the kind words fellas. Dave, the wheels are just on for mock up right now, waitin for the disc brakes to get here before I glue em on. I'm thinkin about painting it Testors Diamond Dust Laquer.
  9. Thanks, it has been a headache, but it's getting there slowly. The floor (as well as wall plugs and such) is self adhesive sheets I got on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/350498226900
  10. Started workin on it this morning. Engine and chassis are done. Now to decide what color to actually paint it.
  11. Thanks. I had intended on building it as a replica of my dads first car, but at the last minute I decided to go this way with it instead.
  12. 5 of the 6 builds of this year. The 6th was just a Lindberg Crown Vic Police car. I noticed when I took the pics that the Duster isn't completely finished, but will be by the end of the night.
  13. The only thing under our tree was a TON of Hello Kitty stuff. Had to make sure my daughter had a good Christmas.
  14. 6 built, 20-30 bought. Wow, didn't realize I actually got that many built. Kinda proud of myself.
  15. I for one don't use acrylic. However, when I was using my airbrush and the little bottles of enamel, I would use about 1 1/2 jars, thinned of course.
  16. So the Dupont is in a spray can? We haven't had anywhere around here that carried Dupont, but we have an O'Riellys opening soon.
  17. Looks good. I got in the habit of using DupliColor over cheap Colorplace enamel primer with good results. Although at one point I waited too long to spray the DupliColor and it ate through the primer. Haven't had the guts to try again. Been using DupliColor primer since.
  18. According to Rider's site, there's still a store in Ann Arbor. Still plan on going to ONE of the stores soon.
  19. We're used to a TON of snow here in Michigan (although we haven't got much at all this year.....so far) but people still act like they don't know how to drive.
  20. Usually, if I get bored with everything else going on in my life (when I'm not too tired from work) I'll build. If I get a vision in my head for one of the builds in my stash I'll pull it out, start working on it and then write down my plans so I don't forget what I wanted to do to it later down the road.
  21. Which is why whenever I sell on Ebay I ALWAYS get a confirmation # when I ship. Hard for someone to say they didn't get their item.
  22. I've had Paypal hold funds on a few occasions. It ALWAYS gets released once the buyer leaves positive feedback. Unfortunatly in the case where a buyer doesn't leave feedback the money is held for the full 21 days.
  23. OOPS, guess I missed it.
