  1. That needs to be on my shelf. Wish I could deliver pizza in that. LOL
  2. For added detail you should shave the door handles off the AMT cab and use the seperate handles from the F-350.
  3. Good point. LOL I had actually considered doing a modern fifth wheel starting with a Galaxie trailer, but too much scratch building for me right now.
  4. Ditto. I have a few trucks that could use some hitches. MUCH better than the one I made.
  5. If I can find the rest of what I need I would definatly be in this.
  6. Mike is good peeps. You won't have any problems dealing with him.
  7. What year Tonio?
  8. I've been wondering the SAME thing.
  9. http://webpages.charter.net/sinkwich/sdventure/html/sd_scalecalc2.htm Figured all you guys could bookmark this. It comes in handy.
  10. It's been an AWESOME couple of weeks with all the stuff I been gettin at GREAT prices.
  11. I also paint 1:1 interior trim panels, so I need something a little bigger.
  12. http://www.pacepaintbooths.com/pace/ Think I'm gonna save up for The Peace Keeper Deluxe.
  13. When my wife and I met I had probably 150-200 kits. I GREATLY reduced that around 2003 to about 15. It stayed like that for a few years, and then when I discovered the forums I started in again. She does mention my "hoarding" once in a while, but jokingly. She's happy that I have a hobby that keeps me out of trouble (I had a BIG problem getting into a LOT of trouble when I was younger). Was actually "gone" for 2 yrs because of it. So building , or, "collecting" is my escape and occupies my mind.
  14. I have maybe 25-30 at this point, but I keep BUYING MORE. There's always something else out there, be it an all new kit or a discontinued kit, that I see that I get a great idea for. So I either bring it home or hit the BIN button on Ebay. Then it ends up sitting on the shelf for a couple years before I even touch it, IF then. The only thing really stopping me from gettin down to business right now is the lack of detail parts I need to order from ScaleDreams. I have a cart started over there with over $100 worth of stuff just waitin for the $ to fall into my Paypal account. I think if I had even HALF the kits some of you do my wife would divorce me.
  15. That's how my ONLY LHS is. If his suppliers have it, he'll order it for me. Although he doesn't deal with any kind of styrene other than sheets, and he hasn't had any of that in a while. Not really considered just an LHS though, (he carries kits and paint, no aftermarket) as he deals with everything from baby furniture to toys. Great guy though.
  16. Both figures included in this kit. http://www.ebay.com/...=item5890fc169b
  17. Looks good Nick, nice job.
  18. Workin on it Ed, I'm workin on it. Once I get all the equipment done and placed I can figure out where the "weathering" should be.
  19. Got the lift finished.
  20. It's just black posterboard I found at Walgreens. With the cleanliness of the whole building it looks like a newly built shop with fresh asphalt.
  21. Actually the slideouts wouldn't be too hard. I think the price was right around $2.5 mil. I first seen one in a google search and it came up as Will Smith's on the set on MIB 2. I was watching something on the Travel Channel last night and found out the company and hit the website. He said his FIRST client was Sly Stallone. He's got one heck of a list of A1 clients. Funniest part is Bill Clinton actually has one.
  22. Anyone wanna take on a new modeling project??? http://www.andersonmobileestates.com/home.php
  23. I don't think that with him only being 15 he was building kits with his uncle in the 60's. LOL But yeah, lay it on a little thick and they may let you dig around and take them home.
  24. Diecast DOES exist. 1/18 for sure, not sure about 1/24-1/25. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=monte+carlo+sun+star&_sacat=222&_odkw=monte+carlo&_osacat=222&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
