  1. The wife picked this up for me today. Now to figure out rims for it.
  2. Been there, done that. Many years ago my dad and I were out on the quads runnin the trails and one of them became quite disabled (don't ask how). lol He ended up havin to bring the truck AND trailer through the trails to pick it up. Fun times. lol
  3. 72 Cutlass (base and 442) 70 Chevelle 61 and 62 Impala convertible 05 GTO 09 Challenger SRT8 2011 Charger RT I know there's more, but these are at the top of my list.
  4. I've used a few different things. Sharpie, a fine tip brush and a steady hand, and a black paint marker.
  5. Looks great, but that's a 59, not a 58.
  6. The only 98+ front end available is for the 1/20 Lindberg kits. One of our very own members casts it.
  7. I've used Duplicolor on 9 or 10 kits and haven't had a problem.
  8. It was an awesome trade. This thing is hella fast. Best part is I got a 3 mth bumper 2 bumper warrenty and a 3 yr drivetrain warrenty.
  9. Traded in my 94 S-10 for this last Friday. Full Borla exhaust, Eibach springs (which lowered it 2 inches all the way around), 17 inch rims. Will be adding a cold air intake very soon.
  10. Depends on which kits specifically you're looking for. Model Express has some and prices aren't that bad.
  11. Scale equipment limited has a nice selection.
  12. got the silver base down.
  13. Haven't had much time for building, been workin a lot. Did manage to get it primed and get the engine mostly built.
  14. The most recent upgrades on mine (aside from losing the topper and getting a tonneau). Euro tails, diamond cut halo headlights, m3 mirrors with LED signals (signals in the glass as well) and seats from a 99 Sonoma.
  15. There is a resin crew cab dooley conversion out there for the 99, not sure who makes it but it pops up on Ebay once in a while. As for the W/T grille for the AMT kits, AAM made them but they are long out of business.
  16. It doesn't include the stock suspension, hood or tailgate.
  17. Technically its not a lowrider, its a sport truck. Guess it just depends on how you look at it. The rims and steering wheel came from the the most recent issue of the Aoshima Hilux (the blue one). Thanks for the comment.
  18. I always pack in a larger box with some kind of padding around it. And whenever possible I add extra padding inside the kit box.
  19. Started this one a few days ago. White face gauges. Completed interior.
  20. There's a Hobby Lobby about 45 mins from me. First (and last) time I went in there was when I was on my way back here from PA. They had NOTHING. Here in jackson, other than Michaels, we have the Toy House, which specializes in baby stuff. They have a real decent selection of kits and paint, but at the average of $25 per kit. That's why I prefer the internet. For the most part, AutoZone and Meijer gets my business for paint since I've started using Duplicolor. Occasionally I got to Michaels for the Testors Laquer when I have the coupon.
  21. Here is the Perry's 2nd gen S-10. First pic is straight from the box, second pic is after cleanup and primer.
  22. I would say all but #1. Some may LOOK box stock, like this one: But I used hoppin hydros tires to more replicate the tires that were on my 1:1 and used the bench seat from the S-10 Xtreme. So this one actually falls into #2 and #3.
  23. It's actually aluminum. I got a few 3x3 pieces of it a while back with a trade on another forum. I just took the dremel to it with a polishing pad and it shined up real nice.
