  1. Just finished it up. And the happy recipient.
  2. My daughter picked out the kit. I'm just building it the way she wanted.
  3. Waitin on the mirrors to dry. Somehow I ALWAYS forget those when I paint the body.
  4. I'm assuming it's gonna be the main building almost right across from the playground?
  5. That is a disgrace to pizza delivery. I'm SOOOOOO glad he doesn't work for Pizza Hut, I'd have to quit my job. LOL This is MY pizza car (and truck):
  6. Decided to work on the dio a little today. Picked up some doors and windows from the train section on Ebay. Might add a plate glass window, not sure yet.
  7. I can't tell you anything about how to run them or anything else, but you can get the LED's . I've been kickin around the idea of using some as well. http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/bl-214f.html
  8. Last time I was there they had a full end cap of Duplicolor on clearance, but it was all silver and white. Maybe this time they'll have more of a variety.
  9. I guess I need to stop by Meijer tomorrow.
  10. Thanks fellas. I still gotta add some sponsor decals and clear it.
  11. I'm building this one for my daughter. Color is Testors Electric Pink over Duplicolor Silver Frost. Decals were found on Ebay.
  12. The boom truck was in SAE. I have that issue here somewhere.
  13. Will there be vendors, or is this strictly a show/contest?
  14. Fujimi. They're a little difficult to find on Ebay, but I stumbled onto them for a decent price and grabbed em.
  15. Proof has been shown, can we let the diecast stuff go now please. For the record, I pm'd Harry last night after I looked up the diecast.I seen some varying differences and had a gut feeling it was actually a kit. A very nice build, so nice that it DOES kinda look like a diecast.
  16. I usually clear over decals, but in the case of a Nascar, I wouldn't. It wouldn't look real if the decals looked painted on.
  17. White's has good food. I used to work there WAY back in the day. Never been to Klavon's though, been wantin to go.
  18. Agreed. However, he never said he built it as a plastic kit. This is what he said: "Thought I'd post my most recent build. Modified nose and wheel openings, fuel filler and overflow and flipped exhaust to right, added dash wiring, antenna and roof camera pod." It could be considered a "build" as he obviously took it apart to add dash wiring along with the other mods. I just think this is being taken too far.
  19. This may not be diecast, but it's a PROMO, meaning already built. I just added the repo self loader to it. Does this not belong here either since I didn't build it? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57239
