  1. Yeah, what Shane said, cuz he said it better.
  2. It was no disrespect. But diecast are "models" too. If someone buys a diecast and alters it in anyway, why aren't they allowed to post it? Now if they take it out of the box and immediatly take a pic and post it and claim they built it that's another story.
  3. It's been posted before, and if I remember correctly, someone here bought some from him. I'm pretty sure he'd be willing to ship, you can always contact him and ask.
  4. What in the world is here that you'd want to come here for? Especially at a college age? LMAO
  5. Why didn't I hear about this??? I live right around the corner from Ella Sharp.
  6. Got one of the toolboxes built and hinged, just needs cleanup and foil.
  7. Waiting 2-3 days is good. I usually do a mist coat of clear, then BMF, and then clear again.
  8. I'm only counting this in my head so I may be off by 1 or 2, but at any given time I have about 15 in some sort of incompletion.
  9. So you're the one that outbid me. LOL I have a few of these and have plans for only 2 of them. A shop truck seems like a good idea. Great job on the spindle.
  10. Well if you don't plan to build it maybe we can work a deal on it.
  11. Definatly the chrome ones. They've got a nice lip that would work for a muscle car.
  12. My last 2 builds I used a silver base. It brightens up the final color significantly.
  13. Yup. I use those and Duplicolor only. Bout to try the Pactra line though.
  14. Actually planned on usin that color for my Caddy, THANKS PREZ, now I can see what it looks like first. lol
  15. I believe you need the regular Magnum. As far as I know all you need from the Charger is the headlights.
  16. Looks believable. I been thinkin about pickin up this kit with the same intentions. I need a beater for the dio.
  17. I think they were just talkin to Claudia Wells for a "where are they now" moment and she brought it up. I never knew. I'm goin through youtube now. LOL
  18. Glad it didn't happen. I just can't see anyone but Micheal J. Fox in that part. http://omg.yahoo.com/yo-show/what-marty-mcfly-s-girlfriend-is-up-to-in-the-future-29153742.html
  19. Gettin the shop back in order. spent the last 2 days movin it upstairs since the wifey wanted our bedroom on the first floor.
  20. And this concludes this episode of "World's Dumbest Model Builders". No offence with the "dumbest" part.

Thanks guys. This is now one of my favorite colors from Duplicolor. It's burgundy berry metallic. Since it's a nice sunny day I'll get a couple pics outside.
  22. Just a tip. If you plan on using Krylon, use colorplace primer. If you need to strip it, get a good scratch going in a couple places down to bare plastic. A couple hours in the purple pond and you'll be able to peel it off in one big piece.
  23. Happened the other day,but didn't notice til it hit the floor. Stuck in the floor pointing straight up, about 1/2 inch from my bare foot. That coulda sucked big time.
  24. Actually, it still runs. Just needs to be stripped down and painted, new tires, tubes and brakes. It was my grandfather's and it's been buried in the shed for the last 20 yrs or so.
