  1. I know what movie you're talking about, but I can't figure out the name.
  2. I just use my fingers, but it has to be wet enough or it won't move, and with too much force it'll tear.
  3. That International looks like Jed Clampetts luxery motorcoach. Or would that be Jethro's since ole Jed actually started to adapt to his 90210 surroundings? Definatly unique, perfect modeling subject.
  4. BTW, the date and time for this show is October 23rd 9am-3pm.
  5. For the same rason I buy multiples (specifically late model pickups). There's more than one way to build it. I have an obsession with pickups and currently have 4 of one, 3 of another and doubles of a few others. The numbers keep growing as I find and can afford them.
  6. I have 7 or so completed, about 30 in progress and about 10 untouched. I NEVER raid parts from a finished build.
  7. Does this start whenever we feel like starting our kit?? Either way, I'll be building an AMT 93 Ford Ranger Splash. It will be built FACTORY stock (not box stock). Meaning I will be updating the interior to the 95 style and using Hoppin Hydros tires on it. The one I owned had low profile tires from the factory.
  8. Jared, from the looks of it, it's just mocked up for now, not glued yet.
  9. Good to see you over here now Brian. Now post up some more of your work, and your resin parts in the resin section.
  10. DANG!!!! Glad I didn't buy it.
  11. How much did you guys end up paying for the Munsters tin?? I checked it out while I was in MI a couple weeks ago and they wanted $50 for it.
  12. The first car I ever "owned" was a 95 Ford Ranger Splash. I never really considered it mine because it was registered in my step-dads name, but it was bought for me. The first car I ever REALLY owned myself was a 78 Ford Thunderbird. That thing was POWERFUL and FAST for the size and weight. I was drag racing 5.0 Mustangs and winning. Wish I still had it. I ended up trading it for an 86 Chevy Citation. BIG mistake.
  13. I used to, but now it depends on the kit. I used to keep them for parts boxes, then I picked up some of those rubbermaid shoe boxes for parts, and I recently upgraded to a Kobalt tool box for supplies and aftermarket and a Stanley tool box for extra parts.
  14. Whoa, calm down, no more coffee for you. I actually forgot that Boyd had passed, so yes, his rims do go for a premium now. And excuse me for making a COMMENT. Everyone is entitled to their own OPINION. MY opinion is that I like Foose rims better, although Boyd does have a few nice designs. Either way, all of them are out of my price range.
  15. From what I understand from Revell, it was scrapped indefinatly. I don't think we'll ever see it.
  16. I can't help myself, I hardly ever build anything the way the manufacturer intends.
  17. The S-10/Sonoma and 67 Impala kits are definatly NOT forgotten in my book, but I'd be up for one of those.
  18. I too seem to have a problem with motivation right now. Maybe I should change up from my usual lowrider and mini truck style and build something different.
  19. You could never build that many Caprice's or Crown Vics in a lifetime. I'll take a couple off your hands.
  20. ESPECIALLY Blackman township. I worked at the Buddy's station on the corner of Michigan Ave. and Elm St. (3rd shift) about 10 years ago. EVERY cop in Jackson County came in there and hung out for an hour or so just shootin the breeze. One of em, Chris Boulter, was still wet behind the ears then. He went to Blackman a few years ago, when it came to pulling me over and finding out I had a warrant for unpaid speeding tickets, he was a real ____ (insert your favorite 4 letter word here).
  21. That's what I do. My LHS even sells empty MM bottles for mixing. I picked a couple up a few weeks ago.
  22. Been online, off and on, for the past 2 months (when there's not a problem with the internet). Been workin an awful lot now just so I can get some "bills" paid off. Got a few hours OT this week. Where I'm at now, I'm only 6 hours from NYC. I plan to make a weekend of it soon. I've always wanted to go to NYC.
  23. Take a moment and say a prayer for the families of the people we lost on 9/11/2001. It's been 9 years, but it seems like yesterday. I can still see the news coverage clear in my mind and how shocked I was that there were actually people out there that could do that.
