  1. Ha! I knew somebody would catch that... Thanks everyone for posting, really enjoying seeing these great builds!
  2. Fantastic, all amazing but the Buick really does it for me.
  3. Genius! Off the charts in the creativity department...
  4. Excellent!!
  5. ...post your AMT AWB/Funnies from the series! I have always loved the '64 to '67 period in drag racing when S/S and A/FX cars were evolving in to 'glass bodied floppers. Consequently, my favorite 'shelf' models of all time are contained in this series from AMT, many of which are available for us to build again without costing us an arm and a leg. When I first got back in to modeling these kits were fetching three figures, but thanks to first the Model King and now Round Two, the kits became available to builders again and I am pleasantly surprised to see that the "Chezoom" Corvair has been added to the list. One of my biggest model-related regrets ever was not paying $35 for a very restorable example of the "Time Machine" Chevelle sometime in the early 90's. I understand that a reissue of that car is unlikely due to the body being converted to a dirt track racer, but I'm hoping the Olds roadster in the series might resurface at some point. Detail and accuracy? Not so much, but these funky little kits are dead simple and, aside from figuring out how to mount the body on the chassis, fun to build. I know most of you have built at least one of these and I would love to see them! Here's mine:
  6. Any reissue possibility for this kit? Great save BTW...
  7. Very sharp! Does this kit share much with the old tool SWC kit?
  8. Hey Tim, just making decals as needed...did you ever use the Tree Frog Ale ones?
  9. Wow...been a fan of your builds since the SLM days and once again you did not disappoint...Fantastic!
  10. Ohhh that looks great!
  11. Never seen this kit built better...excellent!
  12. What Coyote said!
  13. What a great build...never seen that kit built better.
  14. Beautiful!
  15. Show me a more creative modeler than Mr. Dahm and I will eat a razor saw! Totally unique!
  16. Love the way you took a bunch of parts box junk and raw materials and turned it into a really cool model. Great job!
  17. Hey Neil, I hear ya', watched that auction sight for a looooong time before I finally found a built kit that I could afford. The sealed kits were way out of my price range.
  18. Hey Bob, the rims are from the kit. They were the only chrome parts that were salvagable, the rest being painted with the Ace chrome paint.
  19. HELL, yeah...great job
  20. Bought this as a poor but workable built. Had to scratch a few missing pieces, but it was mostly all there. All the chrome except for the rims was done with an Ace hardware brand of chrome paint that has sadly been discontinued.
  21. Very, very nice! What a beautiful job...and such an unusual subject. What kit is this?
  22. Fantastic! Great subject and excellent execution. There is one accessory you forgot however...
  23. Nice! Paint looks excellent...
  24. Love that! Can't wait to build one, hope it's half as nice!
