  1. Very sharp, wouldn't have thought to use black rims but it works well with the body color. Nice!
  2. Looks fantastic Shane! Not sure I would have caught the proportion issues until you mentioned them, but of course that's why your stuff looks so good...BTW, is that a speedway bike in the background? Also, I'd be glad to do you some decals sometime...I've just done fictional cars though, never tried to make any for replicas...Not sure I could do anything worthy of the quality of your builds though.
  3. Excellent!

    Lovely, very clean...
  5. Great stuff! Can't have too many DD kits...
  6. Wow, it was sweet before but the additional detail makes it even better...
  7. Ditto on that...I'm still shakin' my head in disbelief over your last build. Unreal.
  8. Love it!
  9. I still don't believe you exist..."You" are a team of magic elves that crank out incredible models at a superhuman rate...John Teresi indeed...
  10. Thanks Shane! Your Hollish Bros. & Pure Hell cars are stunning!! The decals are done in photoshop...The ones on the F/C were printed on an Alps, The others are inkjet.
  11. Love me some vintage Ferraris, nice work...
  12. Wow great to see the Charlie Allen car finished...Awesome stuff!
  13. Cool!! Love the dragster and your other build look great too...
  14. Wow, love that, nicely done!
  15. Awesome job on this...very, very nice.
  16. That is really beautiful, looks very nice in that color. I have that kit somewhere and really hadn't given much thought to building it until now...
  17. This looks fantastic...The Surfers history is probably (to me) one of the most interesting, hilarious, tragic, & just plain amazing stories I've ever run across. It would make a fantastic movie and I would advise any of you to seek out Cole Coonce's excellent writings on the subject, most of which appeared in Hot Rod Magazine before they started running stories about chopping up 'vettes and using leaf blowers as superchargers... My favorite anecdote concerns their revolutionary 'combination' that resulted in very little maintenance between rounds. They would go out and run low E.T. then push the car right back in line. While other guys were thrashing madly, the Surfers guys would ride up to 'em on their skateboards and say "Wow man, you really know how to work on these things..." Psych! BTW, I have an excellent PHR article from '66 that has some great B&W pix that I would be glad to scan for you, but from the looks of the way the build is progressing I don't think you need 'em...
  18. Bloody lovely!
  19. Very clean...
  20. Wow, beautiful! Very nicely done, even more so considering the scale. I recently built the Monogram kit and it looks remarkably good for a converted slot car body. You can find the kit here: My link ...Seems they've gotten a little pricey, but I doubt a reissue is in the cards anytime soon...
  21. Very nicely done!
  22. Great seeing this again...awesome.
  23. That's a stunner, no doubt...
