  1. I knew that the chassis was the same as the HUG but didn't realize it was just the '69 'vair body...Thanks, may have to investigate that situation. I have another HUG in the stash. I'd imagine the olds uses the Ratpacker or Falcon chassis but not sure I wanna' spring for a $40-$50 resin body at this point...mebbe' after Christmas,lol... Here's the AMT '69 'cuda on the HUG chassis:
  2. It's sitting on a sheet in the pic but indeed, it's really close... probably about an inch and a half of clearance in scale, lol. I didn't sweat the details on this one...
  3. Got another AMT AWB for the shelf, this time the Tempest. Still have the Mustang and Comet in the series yet to build. Wish I had the Edsel, Chevelle, Olds, and Corvair but from what I understand those will most likely never be re-popped due to tool problems & prices for even crappy builts are prohibitive from what I've seen.
  4. Cool!!! The downward tilt of the motor is a nice touch...
  5. Here's one at a decent price: http://www.modelroundup.com/SearchResults.asp Note the price of the Mazmanian Willys...looks like it's getting scarcer.
  6. Great stuff! I am totally intimidated by the complexity of Pro Mods and you just nail 'em...
  7. I love this!! Very original approach...
  8. Love that...I was late in loosening up my American muscle car chauvinism, but now any 50's-60's Ferrari really gets me going. Sure wish there were more affordable subjects in this vein. ...Not to mention the models...
  9. Very neat, looks great in orange...I need about 6 more of those kits. You oughta' to post this in the drag racing section as well...
