  1. Yep, the second pic was built from the hardtop snap-tite.
  2. It looks like they based it off the 2 dr sedan kit instead of the hardtop. Kind of looks like they just cut the top off the sedan. The top of the door is straight without the swoop like the convertible/ hardtop.
  3. Are these new tool plastic kits? What scale are they?
  4. I know where a 69 4 cyl nova is, only one I've actually ever seen.
  5. Yeah this is much better,
  6. He's really proud of it. I've heard he attended a local art school. The car has a supercharger on it, it makes around 600 HP.
  7. The dragon vette is here in town where I live. I used to see it all the time, haven't seen it for several moths though, maybe he's redoing it. The last time I seen it the paint was at least an inch thick. The guy who owns it is a pharmacist.
  8. That's a 58-59 chevy front clip, same as the bed.
  9. I ordered six of them when that kit came out, I had a real 57 sedan at the time. When I got them and opened one, I was very disappointed because they were hardtops. The only other sedan was the mpc flip nose 57 which was pretty hard to find and not very accurate.
  10. I can see model kits being sold online in a downloadable file, and printed at home.
  11. Well I was looking for that kit but I can't find it. I think that one still has most of the original options but I'm not sure. It should have custom front and rear bumpers, 57 Buick grille, chrome reverse wheels, slicks, 409 and 283 engines, blower with two side draft carbs, custom bucket seats, and roll bar. I'll look some more, If I find it I'll post some pics.
  12. It's not bad, it's easy to build and has a some good extras. The the only thing bad about it is the trim on the side is a little off. Here's my favorite part of the kit,
  13. I'm building a convertible out of the current revell hardtop snap kit and the revell 55 convertible, In my opinion it's the most accurate 57 kit there is. I hope they use this hardtop kit for the body. I have a real 57 convertible I'm building, so I'll probably buy a bunch of the kits when they come out, I got a long way to go on the real one.
  14. Didn't realize you where the same groucho, Do you still have the 32 5 window?
  15. Here's some good ones, http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=238665&highlight=box+art
  16. Wow, that really made me laugh. Thanks
  17. That's the new tool AMT.
  18. That thing looks mean. Where did you get the front rims?
  19. I haven't bought a hot wheels in years, (Probably because I have way to many of them already) but if I find this one I will definitely be buying it.
  20. How did you make the side trim on the body?, or is there two different bodies?
  21. Nice bug! Really like the color.
  22. My 67 nova has the locks below the door handle.
