  1. Huh, I have a built one somewhere with no decals on it, never knew what it was.
  2. I don't know the difference in them, but I bought the 1st one to build a mild custom and was extremly disapointed that it didn't have the stock valve covers in it.
  3. http://rhinebuilt.com/
  4. Thanks. It took a lot of work to get the old paint off, I think it was Lacquer, and the windows had a lot of glue on them, but it should turn out pretty nice.
  5. Revell snap-tite in lime green. I have one, but I borrowed the pic from google.
  6. Some of them are close, but nearly every one of them have something that's just way off from the real cars. The first AMT the trim on the side of the car is way to high on the body. The monogram looks a cartoon version of the car. The first Revell is just a mess, not sure they even used a tape measure to make that one. The later Revell sedans are the most accurate. The Revell convertible is pretty good but the tops of the doors aren't right.
  7. I've heard Canada doesn't title cars, what all do you have to do to register it?
  8. That's a 48-54 Chevy truck hood on that geo.
  9. and not a single one of them has ever gotten it right..
  10. Wow, great build. love the turn signals, my 1:1 3100 truck had the same ones on it when I got it.
  11. Yeah, but wheel well openings are 56 modified to look like 55's. Looks like they grafted part of the rear 55 quarters, added the 55 bumpers, and dog house to a 56.
  12. Huh, that burn car actually looks like a 56.
  13. I used to own a car that was nearly identical to the kit, it had a tunnel ram, tilt front end, ladder bars, and black diamond tuck interior. You can see what the real trim is supposed to look like.
  14. Looks great, what wheels and tires are those?
  15. What scale do you build and what type of cars?
  16. It looks great, I love the wheels on it.
  17. I usually thin 2k clears when spraying models. It does not dull or affect BMF in any way that I've seen.
  18. Finished the engine and did a light wash on the wood,
