  1. I see a lot of things on builds here that I would change or would have done differently, but I realize It's just a hobby. I wish more people would post their builds good or bad I'm just happy to see people enjoying building models. I've been away from building for a few years, and after getting back on here I'm very surprised at how few post there are compared to just a few years ago.
  2. Thanks, the blue is model masters and the fenders are flat black with Testors one coat clear. First time using the Model Master paint, seems to take a long time to dry and I don't really care for the way it sprays.
  3. I've had this kit sitting around for a few years, just finally decided it was time to build it.
  4. The orange 72 chevelle you posted has a 69 hood on it.
  5. I just dug this one out of a junk box, doesn't really look like it in the pic but it has a lot of glue on it.
  6. Looks great. How did you reverse the mirror?
  7. I agree on the Revell Snap-Tite kits the Chevelle and 57 Chevy are very accurate and probably the easiest kits I've ever built.
  8. Wow! I wonder what it cost to build.
  9. Wow! I wonder what it cost to build.
  10. My heart about stopped on that Willy's for $2,100. I was ready to buy it, but 6 days left $2,550 bid reserve not met.
  11. The problem was the re-coat time, if you don't re-coat it within an hour you have to wait till it fully cures.
  12. Looks like it's already Son of Danger III.
  13. Most of them I've seen had a white headliner. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1953-Ford-Other-/252167051794?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3ab653da12%3Ag%3ATAgAAOSwMTZWQ~W7&item=252167051794&nma=true&si=3AQRCAanRAwwGoNDb2o638h3hEI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  14. I would love to have a 1:25 49-53 Studebaker pickup.
  15. I'll definitely be following your build, I built one of these in 1990 when it was first released, I've been thinking of picking up another one to build.
  16. When they were new the original panels were machined and the high spots were polished, after a a few years the aluminum dulled and turned white. Here's a pic of an original Bel Air panel,
  17. Corvettes and trucks were usually shipped separately.
  18. Here's a few pics of tri fives on car haulers I've saved. The pic of the 57's is a little small but it's the only pic I've ever found of the 57's on a car hauler. Form all the pics I've seen they were usually pretty random.
  19. Definitely a 61 Catalina
  20. No I didn't post it, but did respond to it
  21. Paint looks great, I love the larkspur blue. What paint are you using?
  22. There was a post on here last night with someone asking to Identify a model of a dirt track car with 50 ford cab on it. I thought it was in this section, was it deleted? I've looked through the forum and can't find it.
  23. 1965 Barracuda 1966 Barracuda
  24. I've got about 100 slicks, a lot of them are a little different. Should they have the Goodyear lettering?
