  1. Great job, if it is not out of line, could I inquire as to the color of paint this was done in? I am a sucker for reds.
  2. I was a little surprised to see that Revell chose to put a later model Cad motor/trans combo in instead of just molding their excellent Cad parts pack motor in white (with the usual chrome dress up parts) & put it in, it would be a little more contemporary.
  3. You can pick up "silver" solid solder for plumbing at any home hardware, & at Walmart, it is very bright, & polishes up easily. Only problem is it comes in 3/32, & 1/8 inch sizes.
  4. All of the late Mercedes that I've got have all had the matte finish on the chrome, it didn't matter what manufacturer it was. I don't think that you will like this kit, want to make you're money back? (LOL)
  5. you picked a great color, if it's purple, it's gotta be right!
  6. If you're going to build that little Pinto in anything other than stock I'll trade you one that someone trimmed about 1/32 of an inch or less from the rear openings, I am planning on building a model of the car that I had when I got married, & I need a stock sedan for it. Thanks, Del p.s. the kit I have is the exact same kit.
  7. Thanks, that'll do just fine,. Del
  8. The lines on the front fenders (the body separation lines) should go from the side marker light to the front fender opening, no big thang tho'. Kinda disappointed with all of the sink marks in the body, some are in bad spots, like the ones along the bottom of the rear spoiler. Also where does the trunk lid end? at the top of the tail lights or what? I haven't seen a rear picture that showed this, so I have yet to scribe it in.
  9. Where did you find these at this price?
