  1. GREAT!, all of us short track racer types will want one with just the basic body & bumpers, Will it be possible?
  2. And here I sat hoping for a build of the "Big Tub", after all you did say your next BIG build.
  3. Tires come from a mold too, (real ones that is) check out the next ones you buy before they're mounted. But I said model too for a different reason.
  4. I'm gonna say model for this one, something about the windscreen doesn't look right. Am I the only one that thinks thid looks familiar?
  5. Is he using the polyester hardener, or a liquid hardener for paint products? I don't see how the hardener for polyester resins (fiberglass) would help, but stranger things have been seen, but the liquid hardener/gloss additive you can get for enamel based paints might help as it is basically just a high gloss clear resin. I have found this stuff helps greatly in Testors paints & can be found at farm supply stores as an additive for equipment paints.
  6. I hope your order doesn't go like your post, or you might end up with 4 cases of them
  7. Gregg, you are obviously too busy to get to this build, what with all of your other projects, & the magazine. Sooo to show where my heart is, you can send it to me, & I will have something new to work on when I get the cast off my arm(elbow surgery again) & am down with the neck surger recovery.
  8. Do you think if we all start to flood Revell's web site with requests that they might offer a few of the old hop-up kits again? I'd like to see the six twos, the injection, & maybe the 4-71, with a single Holley carb instead of the Hilborns.
  9. The same method can be used using a "White Out" pen, they seem to cover a little quicker.
  10. Looks awful modelish, & Harry didn't give us an option to enlarge it, so methinks he has something to hide. Sooo, I have to go model on this one, nice background on this one Harry, it would work great for some of my daughters on line photo shows for her model horses.
  11. How many you need, Maisto makes it in 1/24th scale. They are popular for the great 18" tires, the last one I bought was $2.97 at Shopko.
  12. Instructions?,,,,WE don't need no stinking instructions! uh oh now how do we fit these itty bitty pedals in? Oh well you can't see them anyway, unless you look real close & if anyone is that close I'LL JUST SPILL SOME COKE ON'EM. THAT SHOULD TEACH'EM NOT TO NIT PICK!
  13. Your bolts are on the"fender"? piece where it bolts to the front splitter, but it looks kinda thick to my poor eysight.
  14. I'm probably wrong on this one, but the pannel seems a bit too thick where it joins up to the splitter. going MODEL this time.
  15. Aww man Harry we must think a lot alike, again I know but I aint tellin' unless someone has anything in their stash they want to send me. I have to say ....................................
  16. pant, pant, gimme gimme gotta have it pleez mommy? Now that truly is an inspiration, keep us posted.
  17. There was no 290 six, the six cylinder options were for a 230, 250or a 292 inch engine, the 230 & 250 shared the same external dimensions, but the 292 was a different sort of animal, they all had the same bellhousing as the 283, & 327 options.
  18. I like the way your Home Depot 'Stang is coming out, but do you think the "Coach" would like a Mustang, when Toyota pays all the bills?
  19. Contact Anthony Rios about this he'll help you out on the 411.
  20. hint, hint, you're looking at the wrong side of the car, the passenger side doesn't require one, in any country. Unless you can't see out the rear window.
  21. Oooo, oooo, I know I know, but I won't tell, but it is a cute little muscle. machine aint it?
  22. Lake Speed ran the "Spam Can".
  23. I'm reeeallly likin' it! The red is definitely the right color for this one, still need to put the eyeballs in the windshield area, just make sure that they are pinpoint pupils & bloodshot. Don't rush the clear, it will be worth the wait.
  24. That's BRIGHT! But I think I'd go with '69 Plymouth code F-6 Bright Green Metallic, I painted my '56 Chevy Bel-Air this color in '69, had to wait six months after the color was in the showroom before any paint supplier could get the mix formula. The only bad thing was that I couldn't go through town on a weekend without getting pulled over just to look it over. Think the fenderwell exit headers with 18 inch glasspacks that we cut open & removed all of the "innards" from, along with the radical cam, no front bumper, grille, or splash pans might have had something to do with that? The girl friend that I had then made me sell it, 'cause it only got 5 miles to the gallon, on the highway, now she's the wife of 37 years, & sure wishes we still had it.
