  1. Nice job!
  2. Anyone feel up to looking at another race car? You would? Good! A fantasy build of an East Coast asphalt mod, early seventies! 57 Chevy chassis, scratch built cage and other bars, big block rat, home made headers and decals. Hope you like it! Otherwise I'll post more! Just kidding!
  3. Junior Johnson and Ray Fox's 63 Mystery Motored 63 Impale, looks like there heading to North Carolina to run in the dirt! Hope you like it!
  4. Excellent builds, pictures, too!
  5. Thank you, yes.
  6. Now that is refreshingly interesting!
  7. I want to see pictures of the AMT ice cream truck. Maybe it will inspire me to build a hot dog wagon. Seriously!
  8. Great looking salt racer Raul, I have a great fascination for these cars and will build one some day, if I live so long! Where did you get the cool aluminum wheel disks?
  9. Todays the second, Saturday, yesterday was the update, you already commented on it. The next update, should I live so long, will have an updated date on for your reference. Thank you for your kind observations. Scuze me, gotta go take my meds!
  10. Thanks for your comments Harold. This build is suppose to represent a modern day "vintage" racer. A real race car from back in the day would not sit this low. Even an asphalt specific car. In those days a short track mom and pop build would have raced on both kind of surfaces. So with all that said, I still build clean race cars! This is my inspiration for the build, from the 2007 North-South shoot out:
  11. I like this car, watching close!
  12. Awesome, looks great!
  13. I love this car, you just can't go wrong with an old school build of a 40 Ford! I like the steelies and the nailhead, too! Gonna put that motor with the six carbs in a modified, one of these days!
  14. Yeah, I unaltered the wheel base! Still messing with it to get it right! Not sure which tires to use, yet. I think I'll go with these in the picture, this is a race car from the 60s. Let me see if I have pictures of the body work.
  15. Nice builds, been trying to buy the Falcon and the Tempest but the darn price always goes through the ceiling in the final minutes!
  16. Four shocks on the rear, rear end cooler, pump installed and plumbed, 57 chevy chassis beefed up and braced! Check out the set back on that Boss 429!
  17. Thanks Blue, that is correct! I'm pretty sure you can still find them! If you get one with extra glass, keep me in mind, we'll make a deal!
  18. Nice looking truck!
  19. I do it to protect the decals, and trim tape. You won't see it look any shinier then it is now. Tamiya is real glossy, Krylon is a little less glossy, (satin), and of course there is always good 'ol Dull coat. They all work well with my decals! Thanks for looking!
  20. Thanks for watching and commenting, here it is! Needs clearcoat and a gas cap, but we'll call it done for now!
  21. Small world, I lived in Arcata and was the executive Chef at the Eureka Inn 1978-1980!
  22. Your right, George, a big net is for fishing, or butterflies, or RC airplanes! A beignet, is one of them french donuts you get at Cafe DuMond in New Orleans!
  23. Great looking trucks! Reminds me of when I lived in Humboldt Co. CA in the late seventies!
