  1. Do I need to post a link to my Jungle Pam Album to get a comment! lol
  2. Thanks for the comment Clay. Nah, I'm just a traveling musician, sometimes I'm at home building, and sometimes I'm riding across America, in a smelly van, with three other sweaty guys, eating junk food, and staying in crappy motels!Life is good sometimes!

    1970 GTO

Early-mid seventies era racer, before the emergence of Pony car bodies and manufactured chassis'. This is a well funded car that wins from time to time. I say that now so I have an excuse to build a cool hauler for it later! Modified Model King Super Stocker body sitting on an AMT Olds 442 chassis. Pontiac 400 motor from the Revell Firebird. My decals and Tamiya paint. Enjoy! Link to the build: http://public.fotki.com/slimlouis/72-goat-...ml?cmd=uploadns
  8. Thanks T, I'll have it lettered and finished tomorrow! The decals are ready to go!
  9. Very nice build!
  10. Nice start! I wouldn't worry about the motor too much, no one will really notice. You can always say they needed to got to a back up that day! Just have fun with it!
  11. Doesn't have a gauge panel or ignition box either. It's not done yet. Guess thats why I put it in the "It's not done yet" section. Thanks for noticing.
  12. Thanks for the advice there, Evilone, I appreciate it! I got a car with the stripes you describe, plus remember these are short track race cars! They look good when there a little out andish! Here's the example I have in mind:
  13. People have been telling me that the wheel bases on the GM intermediates were shortened frpm 115" to 112" in 68, but did I listen? NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Finally got it to where I can live with it! Freds wheels and seat, PPP tires, AMT 66 442 chassis(115"),Cage and chassis modifications from the speed shop and Louis Brothers Race Team shop, body from the Super Stocker kit. Tamiya racing white paint, Pontiac 400 Motor from the Revell Firebird kit, fits real well, headers and all, yay! Will add a Mica Blue and Red racing stripe full length, decals are ready! This weekend for sure! Ya'll did say 6 pics right? 640X480? Right? Link to build: http://public.fotki.com/slimlouis/72-goat-wip/
  14. Thanks. Hey Alpha, first of all it ain't done yet, won't go without a drive shaft. Won't steer till the linkage is hooked up! Notice the nice smooth tires? It's an asphalt car! Doesn't drive much in the dirt, although it could with this chassis, just change tires, gears and shocks! Thanks for the comments!
  15. Finally! Not as smooth as the other three Tobias kits I built, but thats life! Scratch rear bumper, rub rails(they may look like oob but I had to widen them with 1/16th coated wire, despite I narrowed the body!) My decals, fuel injection and wheels from Fred's Resin Workshop, headers out of the wharehouse shelves! Link to the build: http://public.fotki.com/slimlouis/carl-van-horn-35-ch/
  16. Still a wip but getting close! 39 Sedan Delivery body on a 57 Chevy Street Machine Chassis. Front Flemke front end, rear coil overs, scratch cage, etc. Body has been narrowed and shortened, with homemade hump from a Nascar Grand Prix trunk added. Tamiya Racing White and Mica Blue, French Blue On the chassis. Link to the WIP: http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e386/sli...Coach/?start=24
