    "Jezebel"

I thought you were calling this the "Chicken Coupe"? Nice build whatever you name it!

    55 Chevy

Here's an old favorite of mine. AMT 55 body on a new tool AMT 57 chassis. Big block to make the wheels go 'round, tamiya paint and my decals.
  3. Looks good so far!
  4. Great looking build on that COT!
  5. Nice looking build, Pat, doesn't matter if it's old school or new school, a nice lookin' build is a nice lookin' build!
  6. Looks like the boys are getting ready to run Trenton or Langhorne or some Race of Champions, long track, judging by the nose and rear quarter sheet metal. Underneath it's just another LB Racing, 57 Chassis, coil overs all around, small block bow-tie, headers, and my decals. 7. One of my favorites. I have one decent 63 Marauder I founf at the bay, need to get a front bumper/grill from Modelhaus.
  8. They are all great looking builds, I have the kit and the decals, someday, soon! Love to hear the tricks you learned from Ralph if you care to share!
  9. Great builds and photos, Don't know why I didn't see these sooner! Don't know why no one else hadn't posted, either.
  10. Sorry, I meant to say 56, when the grill and bumper are on it it's easy for me to identify. Slip of the tongue! So what I was asking, this old 56 kit was crummy? Is it the same kit as the Del Ray- California Wheels job I just completed?
  11. That would be appropriate! The "UNOFFICIL" roundy-round section!
  12. Interesting about the decals! Never heard that one before. Can you post some chassis shots, pleeeeze, top and bottom! Thanks! Slim the Chassis Guy
  13. This has always been one of my favorites! Great job on the photography, as always! So back in the day they made a 55 post sedan with openig doors and such? Before my time, I guess. I have built the 55 Hardtop, and am inclined to agree with you guys. It makes agood short tracked when the doors are a little cock-eyed and the glue looks like welds. Adds a little character, I think. Hate to try to build a custom or factory stock with them!
  14. Haha! Good eye Doc, I rinsed it off a little to kill the dust before the pictures, and didn't dry it off real well! Thanks for the comments, guys!
  15. Thank you , Mark, I appreciate the support. I beleive we have a mutual admiration society here, you and I, I like your style of building as well. As long as I'm looking around here, I will continue to post comments on the builds that grab me. I like all kinds of "old school:! Drag racers, Bonneville, Hot Rods, and old customs. Big trucks and Haulers are neat, too! Some day I will build a model that doesn't require a number on the door! I am actually a pretty open minded old dude!
  16. Great looking rendition of Gentleman Jim's Pinto! Who did the decals?
  17. Revellogram body narrowed and shortened, scratch built chassis, big block Ford, headers, Tamiya paint, Slixx and my decals. Hope you like it! Link to the build: http://public.fotki.com/slimlouis/37-ford-coach-70/

  21. I build primarily vintage race cars and I am in a quandry as to where to post them. My last several bulds builds, either in the workbench or under glass sections received zippo response. Maybe they should go here. Didn't really think they sucked that bad! Short Tracks,a 56 Chevy with a hot small block, open headers, red and white two-tone, warm Saturday night (coming soon), hot dogs, your favorite cold beverage, whats not to like? Thanks ya'll! 22. Very nice build and diorama!
  23. Nice, just my style!
  24. Cool! Great looking paint job!
  25. Interesting build! I like it, very convincing! The masking and paint was well worth it!
