the challenger is one of my alllll time favorite ones to build the last one i did was a 426 hemi aswell which i build as a christmass present for my father in law as a mather of fact, i was just today working on my "sardine challenger" at any rate, back to your build i like the colour, was the a stock option ? it looks good and it is nice to see a muscle car from that era in something that isnt plumcrazysublime (no offence) one more question though, you are number 1186 and you only have 7 post ? whats up with that ? (if you dont mind me asking)

is 63 the year of the car or the production date of the model ? looks like your off to a good start

its all good i've decided to trade the focus engine and just finish one of the 17 project i have on the bench instead

that comes with a ford 2.0 zetec engine ?

is that a curbside or does the hood open and show an actual engine ? becuase i need an engine for this projec,t curbside will not do

i already have the revell tuner but i got plans for another one and i would like the WRC for a project, it would save me the trouble of pulling out the backseat and junk

hey guys im thinking of buying a ford focus wrc for my next project and ive come across a kit build by heller ? does anyone know if this is any good ? also, it seems to only have 56 pieces so am i looking at a sort of snaptite kit ?

more so then the mustang or no mustang debate i would like to pose the question: rwd or not ? i mean, do you really want to buy a car that you cant really SAFELY drive 4 months out of the year ? (im sure there are all sorts of ESP antislip programs and what not but still) i live out in michigan and the 4 seasons (almost winter, winter, still winter and construction season) has always kept me from buying a RWD car IF you decide to go with a RWD anyways based on looks and nothing else i would take one challenger over a handfull of mustangs

as promised, here are some more pics, first up...the zetec and now back to the truck its hard to get a good picture of just how awesome those mickey thompsons look on there but here is a shot from the underside showing the close fit (keep in mind i am no where near done painting and all these parts are merly mocked up) and here is a tails end view i was at first planning on using a stock tailgate with chrome "ford" on it but the paint didnt come out great on that so i might end up using a custom shaved version (i do want to use a tailgate because most of the time this truck will have the tounea cover on ) also, im going to install stacks so dont bother looking for tailpipes down there

ill try and get a pic up later tonight (gotta swipe the wifeys phone) but if you just want the drivetrain out of that car make me an offer for a trade i dont think ill get round to using it anytime soon it had the tranny and the driveshafts attached spike, ill take that as a compliment that the tubs look nice and stock seriously though, the rear axle sits about halfway in the back dish of the wheels ill try and get some decent pics of them for you tonight aswell i dont think there is even half a scale inch of room on iehter side

i sure did but it doesnt show too well in those pics, i musta done too good a job tubbing the bed ill post some pics after i paint the bed (still got to paint the floor) but those wheels fit awesome

put the second coat of paint on today it is by no means perfect but i guess i cant complain to much, i think it came out pretty decent (had to leave room for improvement somewhere) anyways, here is a mock up of the body on the frame let me know what you guys think of it

anytime you got three halves to something its got to be good right ? i like it questions thoug, it looks like your air compressor is in a little drum ? is that to keep the noise down ?

i would go even more agressive, and drop the front of the roof to the level in the chop and then decrease the slope of it towrds the back, so that the roofline will be horiziontal (cant photosoup it but i can invision it) i think that would look awesome

fuji is right that is a revell ford focus svt 2in1 tuner please keep in mind the 572 is NOT included in this kit it doesnt look like i am going to use the zetec (fuel consumption be darned, that 4 banger wont even spin those rear tires) so if you want it let me know what you want to trade for it and ill send it your way (i pulled the driveshafts of to fit the truck but they come with it)

little bit of progress i painted the engine hoist today i am planning on getting two or three different sized pieces of wire i can use as axles in the cylinder that way the hoist will be fully adjustable to the placement in the dio (right now it just has a drill bit in there)

hey guys we finished up the engine the other day but i had to run off early so i let my wrench monkeys install the engine for me lets see what we got what the ... thats not the right engine !!! thats a 2.0 zetec engine darn kids, wheres my flathead ? **looks around the garage** hey there it is for a second there i was afraid they swapped the flathead into the focus they pulled that 4banger out off i'd better check thats right, now i remember why i pulled that 4 banger in the first place, to fit in the blown 572 engine anyways, as you can tell there is some slow progress here question and suggestions are always welcome
