i would start by getting some slightly larger rear tires that will bring the tail up a tad and give it a much more agressive looking rear end
-
think they also make good trailer hitches

zeerikzee would have sufficied i spend many a summer there as a boy all of zeeland to be honoust but zeerikzee and scharendijke had a special place in my parents hearts they were both avid divers and my dad is a 3 star instructor with the Nederlandse Onderwatersport Bond to this very day i was born in a tiny little hole in the ground called nijnsel (kerkdork van st oedenrode) and grew up in a mcuh larger hole in the ground called volkel thats right, by the airforce base both of which are in noord brabant by the way i think i even took my wife over to zeerikzee once while we were still dating

i had very high hopes for this project it was looking really good and i was exited to see some of these "artistic changes" you spoke of and then i saw this i just dont think this is the best wheel placement bob, your toe in and camber will be off the charts all joking aside though i love where this build is going very nice detailing

im with fuji on this one also (and this is totally of topic) ive been planning on getting a roll of window tint (maybe 20 % ) so i can shade my own windows, cos those look WAY to dark, im sure ill see you on wegmisbruikers with that tint have you thought of building a trailer with a boat for this one ? because those rims would make an awesome boat anchor just out of curiosity, what part of the netherlands are you from ?

nice lookigng build (not too sure about quotng wikipedia as a source though, they wont let my wife do that in medschool) had a question though it looks like (and that just might be it) the capris passenger side wheel has a lower ET then the driverside (gotta keep up with all this sounding carsmart deal) true or optical illusion ?
-
i actually postponed progress on the "sardine challenger" to build this not to mention my "if i could only afford a real car" honda and my dodge cant even remember what type it is truck
-
it doesnt show very well in the pics but the custom rear fenders have a horizontal crease in it which is just beggin for a two tone so the hood stays red then ill follow the lines fo the front fenders dipping to the bottom of the doors and pop back up so the hack of the cab will be even with the aforementioned crease on the rear fenders (almost like a check mark) everything above the line stays red, underneath it will be the same gunmetal as the frame of the trailer is

yes and yes the mopar ralleys on the truck came from a chally the ones on the trailer i have no clue, they have a smaller lip but look perfect on it dont worry too much bout the delay i spend a few hours fidding with my 1:1 aswell this week turned out my diverter valve is leaking

hey guys last week the wifey and i went on a romantic getaway for a few days and she got me the modified stockers hauler it comes with a trailer and a 53 ford the ford will be build to match the trailer, folowing a two tone pattern that matches the paint on the trailer the ford will have a flathead V8 with a few go fast goodies and massive tires in the back (this will be my first attempt at tubbing) the trailer and truck will have matching rims, but the truck will have a wider lip and bigger tires let me know what you think yes that is a hemi powered dragster on there we do need somthing better then a ford to actually hit the track

i remember seeing those cars as a kid growing up for whatever reason we called them pikes i think my dad always liked them at any rate thats a great deal on a great car but what is with the plates ? apart from the front one reading 723219 MI and the rear reading MI 723219 the colours dont match if the plates were english the front should have been white/bleu and the back bleu/white if it were french it should be the other way round only option left in that colour is classis dutch plates BUT that would be a 4 digit 2 letter combo

well guys, here is an update i built the base a while ago but i didnt tape it of properly (painted the bottom of the wall blue , you'll see) so it had terrible overspray i tried fixing it and ended up having to wait untill i could find new material for the base today i finally found some at my job and went right to town the new base measures 17X24 and the walls are 24 inches high everything is 1 inch thick foam when i got the foam it had a sticker on there and i peeled this of leaving a paper residue behind i was hoping this would give the walls and floor a nice "concrete" looking texture and i am not disapointed with the way it came out here is a quick mock up i still need to paint and install the door and dare i say it ...scratchbuild an overhead door (it wont be functional but it will look like it is) the walls are just taped together and none of the tools/equipetment is painted yet but i just had to share

-
looking good man that definatly makes a lot of difference, the charger frame love that GTX body too, one of my favorites just out of curiosity, did that version of the GTX kit come with the beefy tires ? because im working on a project they would look killer on http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19265

looking nice dingo just a thought though, what if you would mount the winge a tad furter forward so you can "wrap" the daytona striping all the way around the trunk and have the wing sit inside it so it seems as if its part of teh striping , being white and what not just my 2 cents, i think it would look more authentic that way
