  1. Thanks, Cato
  2. OK, gettin' old sucks, a couple of days ago I looked at a thread with a question about an old issue of Model Car Science magazine (June 62?) the thread had how each of the 3 cars were built using existing kits at the time and I would like to find it again. I can't remember where it's located, so can any body help me out? Thanks, Robert
  3. Hey Harry, how are you guys coming on the "cars of the 70s" book. I've just about worn out the pages of the 50s and 60s editions, need some new reading materials.
  4. As nice as it is, I wonder what it costs to build a complete engine, and how it compares power wise to it's steel twin.
  5. Once ! Then you'd have to move into the garage.
  6. It's amazing what you can do with aluminum cans these days.
  7. I agree, looks cool but about as useful as an SSR, 2 seats and a big trash can in back.
  8. Now, while they last, feed your snake cheep! Women just don't understand. Not just January, Spring 2015
  9. A tractor, a flat head and some tracks, what's not to like? Calling Ira, Ira to lane 2 please. Tel Tubby mobile? All new for 1955! and for those of you of the 2 wheel persuasion, one last ride.
  10. It probably fits the term functional, for what it is, same as most of the other off beat designs. The Avalanche comes to mind, yuck, couldn't make up it's mind what it wanted to be.
  11. Really? "korea move" , hope you speak a little of the lingo, might come in handy.
  12. I've done that, but put shrink wrap over the coil to make the duct.
  13. I don't think it was original, had a replacement engine, but still a beautiful car. And yes, it's all about the money, they're acting like Chrysler didn't know they were stripping the Challenger, what a crock.
  14. I wonder if I can fit that in my 55?
  15. Yep, it's time to slow down and smell the "roses".
  16. Well, good morning, Lucas, I usually sleep to 6:30 or 7, but am up at 5 to take my granddaughter to the bus stop today.
  17. The shorty tri fives are usually 4 doors with the doors combined to make them work with the body line changes ( front edge of the front door added to the rear door, back edge of the rear door added to the front door) depending on which doors are good.
  18. Sandy's a friend who hasn't joined the forum yet and wanted to see the El Camino, bumped it up to make it easier for him to find.
  19. Just looked at the forecast, it's supposed to be in the 30s here Sunday night, Sure wish Mother Nature would make up her mind, my tomatoes are 2 ' high and blooming.
  20. Bump for Sandy, Really nice job Bob.
