Vandal
Edward Gore replied to hobbybobby's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
That is BOSS! The colors, interior, and the deco on the sides of the driver bubble. What kind of engine is in the Vandal? It looks like a V8 but I want to wire it and want to know the firing order and throttle spring etc. -
Texaco Wrecker

Fine progress. The same white drying in two different shades is weird. Probably because you didn't use a primer first. I think the cab was blue plastic and the bed was black plastic ? -

Mustang1989 - "Where'd you get the idea for this anyways? Just curious." This project sort of designed itself along the way. Sort of like doodling with plastic. I wanted to build something macabre for Halloween and I already had the Vampire Van kit in the stash. I bought it a while ago for the casket towed behind as a trailer. I thought it was 1/25 scale which would be a rare accessory item in this scale. After sizing it, it's actually approx 1/30. I didn't like the 'show rod' look of this ride and wheels so I grabbed the old M113 build for the running gear. I then decided to throw the casket in back like a hearse, but now why is a hearse tracked. So decided on a grave digging mechanism, etc. . . Thank you for asking. the goon - Thanks Dave Van - Thank you, I tell Mr. Mohinga lanesteele240 - Awesome. A grave robber… that's an interesting angle I didn't see until now Agent G - Danno - Thank you for your compliments, gentlemen. Harry P. - Danno - This is the season for PUNkins

All the images for this build are here until I get this properly sorted: http://imgur.com/a/20wIo The tracks were too long , so I cut 19 'links' out. Then used a stapler to connect the loop. All the images for this build are here until I get this properly sorted: http://imgur.com/a/20wIo
