  1. Heres one i did back in 1999 to replicate one of my dads drag cars,and it was a 27 (something close to that anyway)
  2. I tried to use a newer issue interior tub from a 69 cougar kit, altho they looked the same they really werent,so i went back to the orginal one to the kit i was restoring. it does have taillite installed now,had to wait for NNL east to pick up a new one. thought i had posted an updated pix with it installed,but i couldnt find it so here it is again.
  3. AWESOME Jeff!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have four of them to build yet! but they do look like alot of fun! and may have to try one or two of them myself......
  4. Done up in light metallic blue. Changed the tires and wheels over to BFG's and cragars and a deal of work was needed to get this done........... Altho i dont those pics uploaded yet cause my puter went south over the weekend and the power supply went south! ACK! I did take some pics with my boys D/cam but the pics are way to big and the fact i am on there puter i cant get them resized right now........ Will try later on tonight and see if i can get it done..... and post pics here. gona try one pic and please let me know if its to big and i will remove it... Just remembered i had a USB cable and found it! never have used it since i have owned this D/cam LOL ALSO check out the workbench forum for how i got the front wheels to work on this build.

  6. Thanks Guys! Like i said it has been in the works for afew years, and at times i didnt think i would ever get her done!!!!!!!!!! Always loved this body style! and it being a twister! Wished i had a real one sitting in my drive way.
  7. Got some color on this this morning. Nothing fancy just a simple build...big block and cragar wheels with BFG's for tires.
  8. Finally after 4 years, i finally got this one done! Started it back in 2003 and after a few moves i needed to glue some things back on... Decals are from Keith Marks and were put on back in 2003. I started this build when we moved to the east coast back in Sept of 2002.
  9. Pulled this back out couple weeks ago. Re-did the rear tailgate and taillites (from 66 Chevelle wagon kit) Had to narrow the gate down alittle to get it to fit.
  10. And now for the new stuff i got. 1961-3 ford pickup 1969 Jeepster Un-built 1976 Chevy Vega 1967 Ford Mustang fastback Orginal issue 1976 Chevy Nova (Randy Izatt build)Post office wasnt nice to it either.
  11. Really not alot of time to build as of late, but i have been dabbbling alittle. '90's ford pickup( still need to paint the inside of the tailgate LOL! Incase your wondering YES it does have 4wheel drive........

Ready to hit the streets!!!!!!!!!!and get ready for the power tour in scale if there ever is one LOL! still need to locate a taillite and bmf them so they will match... the 429 daul 4 with blower should lite the tires up with lots of smoke when one nails the gas pedal! and in the back the glas-pak should sound really nice!!!!!!!!!
  13. Wasnt happy with the hood so i did another one last night after work. just laid down the last coat of clear this morning. Should follow the theme with the bed cover (as in the same color for the inserts of the hood)

  18. Finally! after adding a few more things shes done! She was built for a online contest that ends this month........ Alot of scratch building went into it,opening doors! scratch built straight axle to name a few.....

  22. There i noticed finally!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brand new delray kit and i cut the rear section out to fix this one!!( i couldnt find my other 3 kits of the 56) Fiqured i would shoot the whole 1/4 panel so it would blend nicer! good idea! but not with the clear i used! when i pulled up on the tape YIKES!!!!!!!!

  24. A how i done it as well! Also i think i posted it acouple years ago some where! LOL Will have a couple post on the subject......... And also i tried some new clear out and guess what! it didnt work LOL! was meant for funiture LOL ok here we go! hang on! its gona get bumpy! Anyone else notice that big hole where the taillight was to go??? i didnt! till after i had the paint on! yikes! thats when i found out the clear i used didnt work to well! LOL
  25. Heres the one i did, and no its not correct! but i like it just the same LOL! I like how you did yours tho! now thats thinkin out side the box! I to used the 55 for the w/frame........and using a junker 56 kit that needed a roof! i said what the heck! The wife has been after me (say 16 years now) to build her a dream car! so i did and started fresh! i still have the one i started tho back when! You know what! i'll start another thread not to hijack this one!
