You know just some days we get in a hurry and really fowl things up! like me!! i should have let the red dry alittle longer before throwing some clear on it.....delima should i just leave it as is and make her alittle rough around the edges after all she is a 48 (LOL) Or should i try again and dip her in the lake for awhile.....problem is tho if i put her in the lake she will get boxed up for awhile...........I am thinking of slightly weathering her a tad around the edges............. Here ya go! you tell me.....

Thanks James! I went with a Resin one for the blue 66 fastback, then got to thinking and the 69 Mustang interior is pretty much the same thing........after alittle sanding on the sides cause of the width........it will work out prefect i would think........fits all most like a glove. will post more pics as i go.......

Now with the decals on and more coats of clear, this is where i stand with it now.....
-
With the windshield frame gone i sat here for the last few months starying at this and trying to see what i could come up with.....well i decided not to keep it a ragtop, i wanted another fastback....... So one thing led to another and i was hacking the roof of a bad paint job from year or so ago. MK re-issue AWB mustang gave up its roof. Now on to the pics....... Thats with one coat of clear........
-
Hate to say it but YIKES! was this a horrible kit! i did manage to get it togather, only took year or so to do it!. Also it has been awhile since i have built a new kit out of the box...........maybe i should have had my son build it then re-do it! might have went easyer LOL!! Either way i am glad it was brought back out! great for parts!!

Good lookin pickup! (both of them) Never noticed but i got the 79 ford F150 done stock wheel base. here's a pic of it. I had the samething happen to me, Bu ti started the model project long before i got the truck givin to me, only problem is i made mine a 4x4 to move snow. heres the 1:1 Here's the scale version -
Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!! I did have a blast while building it! everything went well togather. And Steve H That Wagon is sick!!!!!!!!!! got any more pics of it?? and i started yest another Mustang Restoration, check out he bench after while........

Yes she is finally done!!!!!!!!!!!!!! got acouple pictures before the batterys died in D/cam........ The exhaust tip i made from Alum tubing and brass tubing........drilled chassis out for brass tubing and added a bent exhaust tip alum tubbing.......(V-8s exit out passenger side, 6 Cylinders exit out driver side) and seeings how this had only one exhaust tip molded into the chassis i modfiyed one to fit..... Hi-Po 289 4V all of the emblems i did with a silver sharpie and rapidograph india ink pin, then all of it was sealed with future floor wax so it doesnt get rubbed off down the road......... All in all it was a fun build but it was trying to get me pretty badly last night durring the build, But i plugged away on it! and not let it get the better of me! Still not happy with the hood so i may re-do it down the road.......... I know GTs shouldnt have the trim in the cove area but it looked to good to delete it....so i kept it.

alittle more progress this weekend (mostly today LOL)
-
Thanks Chris! It's nothing fancy by any mean's! but decent enough for the display case. I did some updating with my own skills thrown in....... It'll work till i get the chance to build my own version of it.
-
But i did manage to get it back togather just to have a box art build........ Chassis from parts box i redid, had acouple broken pieces. First at using Future floor wax too........ Nothing fancy by any means! but it was somthing i wanted to do, hopefully down the road i will be able to build my own..
