Well Eric on a tubbed vehical such as this one cornering is not an issue because it really made for stright line racing ie. stop light to stop light or the 1/4 mile. The shorten rear axle has alot to do with it also. And your correct the tires on the front just need to be pushed in a lil, I never glue my tires to the rims just incase sight adjustments need to be made. Thx for your compliment buddy and that sharpe eye for detail. Romell

Its not a junker its a sleeper, and I feel ya on that top Harry im gonna weather it.

Hey fellas this one started out as the Revell 69 Yenko Nova. I wanted to do something a lil differant than my usual so I beat it up with a 10lb sledge hammer on the passenger side. No im just kidding. Anyway the motor is a Ross Gibson 502 Chevy big block with dual turbos from forum member Shucky (loved the turbos shucky Ol boy) its completely plumbed and wired. It has a ford 9 rear end hooked up to a four link. The interior has been weathered and there a hidden rollcage. If you would like to see the build just check this link http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=33737 otherwise I hope you enjoy the pics. The End......or is it?

Hey fellas first let me apologize for the slightly blurry photos but it was dark and the cam was struggling for light. But anyway I pulled the motor out so I can build my suspension and break system and this will also allow me to smooth out the firewall before painting. Enjjoy! borg warner trans supported by the jack , motor pulled.... motor still on the hoist.... new starter.... finally on the motor stand.... Stay tunned for more to come....

Come in Everyone! What's your 1:1?
Romell R replied to Jordan White's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Youre Kidding right??? 1. all Foose rims are not 1 offs as Foose has a line of custom rims 2. To get a 1 off rim you would have to pay for the tooling the time spent in CAD designing, and usually youd have to make a min. purchase 3. Boyd Coddington passed away just a lil while ago, so who's rims do you think are goin to be rarer now thus be more valuable? 4. Like I said they only made enough parts for 30 sets or 120 seperate rims. And im about to buy two more so that cuts the set count down to 29. Have your facts stright before you make this type of comment...oh yeah before I forget 5. I'll ditch them when you pay me the money i spent on them. Let me know if you want my PayPal address. -

This is my ball and chain that im happily married to. A 67 Chevelle with a 454 70 over power plant 12 inch tunnel ram with two 650cfm demon carbs topped with a shotgun bill scoop, ceramic headman headers conected to 3 inch exhaust pipes. she is also bottle fed by a 20lb bottle of NOS. theres a 8pt rollcage and Wilwood brakes on all four corners. Faultline will be finished early this spring. I built a model here in the forums as a design tool, and the 1:1 will resemble it closely I'll include pics of both. Enjoy rollcage installed almost 1 of a kind custom Boyd Coddington wheels (they only made enough parts for 30 sets) Six piston calipers Shotgun Bill and his favorite bottle... the design tool.... -

Another coat of primer reveals some minor correction needs to be made but were very close now... Sleeper is getting closer too.....but i forgot to fix the back LOL! Stay tuned for more to come.

All my big ticket items are out of the way, I have a garage full of parts just waiting to be bolted on and I'll be doing all the work from here on out ie. painting, fabricating, wrenching, welding , pizza eating and soda drinking LOL! I only have a couple items left that will cost me a pretty penny but thats under control. have a great day my friend.

Hey harry I own my own business and I have been into working on and building cars for as long as I can remember (since 12) my business is not car related but it does afford me the time and money I need to support my projects. Ive been a HotRodder all my life in my 20's I used to drive (and crash)a 200mph top fuel rail that my uncle owned.
