  1. I'll see you there, I'm also a vendor
  2. Greg....if you scroll down on your page, you'll see a topic marked "actions'. There is a button there to download your photos. It took me a couple of tries, but I was able to rescue the photos I had there.
  3. Good to hear you enjoyed yourself, Brian. I'm glad I talked you into it and enjoyed meeting you. Like the others have said, now you know the routine, you can plan your day better and get out to lunch to fill in some of the time.

  10. Hasegawa Ferrari 312T....1/20 . Pretty much OOB except for the Hobby Design wheels. Painted with Tamiya TS-8, decanted and shot through my airbrush
  11. I'll let my avatar tell you how I feel about this subject..............LOL
  12. Sorry Bruce. I should have included that info. It is 1/20
  13. I finished this one about a month ago. It is an Ebbro kit which was painted with Tamiya TS-49. Built out of the box with the addition of the 'Gold Leaf' lettering by Indycals.
  14. Thanks for the compliments I figured out how to get bigger pics. Hope you have a chance to see them.
  15. Excellent work. The detail is stunning.
  16. Outstanding job on this kit, Jurgen. I would have to agree with all of your observations on the kit.
  17. Thanks guys.
  18. Thank you very much. I appreciate the compliments
  19. Thanks guys Dale....I don't know what to tell you....I first ran GPL back in '98 on Window 95. I also have run it using Windows XP. Haven't tried any other operating systems with it. Maybe Angel can answer that.
  20. GPL is the inspiration for my most recent builds. I've got a 67 Ferrari 312 and a Eagle T1G in the works
  21. Finished this up in time to be counted as a 2015 build. It is a Model Factory Hiro 1/20 BRM. Only took 2 years to get it done. This was my first try at a multi-media kit. Mostly white metal with some resin and turned aluminum parts. Built out of the box and painted with Tamiya TS-9 British Green. I hope you like it.
  22. John....Thanks...hopefully I won't have to kick too many butts....LOL Joe...Thanks for looking in. The rigging is what's slowing me down right now. I've been studying the rigging diagrams to make sure I understand where all of the lines go to. There are 11 sails and each one has 5 to 8 lines on it. So there's going to be rigging lines going all over the ship. I'm trying to determine if I want to follow the instructions or put the sails on in a different order. And yes, the save on the case was fortunate. I had ordered it a little too tall, so it worked out when the bottom edge was cut. Kevin....Sharp eyes !! It Is supposed to be the sub in Operation Petticoat. I did a 'pink' build on another forum several years ago. You where supposed to build a model of any subject as long as it was pink. Chris....Not much of an update, but I have been doing stuff. When I got back from DSC, the extra rigging line I had ordered came in. I also rigged the blocks on the other two masts and installed them. Then I cleaned out a space in the TV cabinet so I could store and display the ship safely. I tacked a couple of sails on to get an idea what it will look like. 1190
  23. Here is a link to the pics I took. http://public.fotki.com/2whl/model-shows/desert-scale-classi-2/
  24. Chris.....no one's as fast as Johnny Southside!....LOL Ray.....R 'ye be going to DSC? John and Brad.....I'm happy with the different shades of brown, also The shrouds are in two sections.....lining up the top and bottom attach points and getting the centers glued at the right angles has caused a bit of pirate cursing. One of the parts broken was the pin for the top part of the mast. I ended up drilling both ways and inserting a piece of brass in for strenght. I mocked up the other masts and shrouds for a teaser look. Going to DSC this week-end, so no modeling until Monday. 864
  25. Now it's time to start the rigging portion...I tied some of the blocks to the first mast and installed it. And then the shrouds for it. 712
