  12. Here's Taz when he was little And now he's grown into a watchcat
  13. Wow John.....this is looking fantastic....but I should have known that if you're building it...........LOL
  14. I've been working on the dash. First pic....I used a silver marker to 'paint' the bezels and guage faces. Then I put the decals on. In the last pic, the bottom right gauge has had Testor's Clear Parts Cement and Window Maker put on to the guage. It was just done, so the cement hasn't dried and turned clear yet.
  15. Which magazine did you find that in???
  16. At the next DSC you will, unless you come to SoCal for the LLC NNL
  17. I just stumbled onto this thread, but I like the idea behind it. Some say you should always push yourself, but sometimes building a kit cleanly out of the box, IS pushing yourself. I started a ship on another forum and had said that since it was my first ship, and a sailing ship w/rigging, that I would be building it OOB. Then some one chimed in with this comment. "Bad idea. If you do choose to build anything, always test your talents. OOB just means that you got paid for a review (a) or b it could have been better but you chose not. Snap out of it." Needless to say, I was astounded by such a callous comment. I'm glad there are those on this forum that understand the need to build something OOB.
