  1. Yes, I say I like that size board better. Good work, Ira. It's coming along swell.
  2. Thanks, John. Personally I stay away from such establishments that serve those all-you-can-eat buffets. I try not to mix my pleasure. LOL! I should have this vehicle finished in the next couple of days, and then I can focus on the theater, and when the lights arrive, I can start the show. Thanks for the generosity of spirit and comments. Best, DC
  3. What color is that? It looks beautiful, and shiny.
  4. Beautiful models. Thanks for sharing.
  5. It's one of my favorite all-time kits, so you will have fun with it. It always builds into a nice model . . . Have fun and enjoy the styrene journey. All right, folks, here's a video UPDATE . . .
  6. Oh man, it's already Monday and there hasn't been progress from your bench. :( :(
  7. Brendan, it comes with the Revell "LIMITED EDITION" 49 Merc kit. This kit is full of goodies, including a pretty sweet engine.
  8. LOL, RAY, that would be totally unruly, wouldn't it? It would look like one of those UNRULY + NAME OF US PRESIDENT IN 2002.
  9. LOL! It's--how can I put it, Harry--voluminous? HA! Yes, I gotta clean up that G-string material. I did spray over it. If it every falls off it will be a patchy, splotchy . . . well, I can't say it here! Thank you, Ira. I really like the contrast too. A few more dollar bills on the floor and some girly mags and it should be good to go.
  10. Yes, perhaps this one will now NEVER be shared in any magazine anywhere. LOL! Which means you'll have to bring your dollar bills to see it: http://public.fotki.com/vsuarez666/voodoo-customs-chop-shop/models-1/burlesque-49-merc/56.html#media
  11. The firewall is getting some details too: And then suddenly that Bob Seeger song popped into my mind (big black haired beauty . . .) and since I had some black paint left over in the airbrush I decided to add a much-needed detail . . . The only problem is that I feel weird posting the picture here to the forum where there are some minors, but if you want to see it (and are old enough) you can go here: http://public.fotki.com/vsuarez666/voodoo-customs-chop-shop/models-1/burlesque-49-merc/55.html#media
  12. Part of what slows it down is the weathering I end up doing with the airbrush. I am working on the tires right now and some of the radiator parts, etc . . . Getting the engine parts mounted for some impending airbrushing . . .
  13. Here we go, this is always the part of the build where things get a little tedious with detailing and painting the last round of engine parts . . . but I've learned to go slow and enjoy the process. Here's some progress: The interior is coming along:
  14. There IS NO subject matter you don't model well, John . . . another eye-candy-filled build underway. More POPCORN, EYEGORE!
  15. That's why those silver Sharpies come in handy, Harry . . .
  16. A lot of military modelers do that to their dioramas . . . use a picture frame.
  17. I'm really enjoying these pictures and the build. Keep the eye candy coming.
  18. Nice work, Wayne. Love the drama the dog jumping out adds to the moment. You've worked hard on this one and it has paid off. Congrats.
  19. I never received any confirmation for last year . . . then again I sat out this year.
  20. Very cool, James, I hope you continue to work on it. And thanks for the great eye candy, everyone.
  21. Hoping to see more progress on this one . . .
  22. Some great detailing so far. I like it.
  23. I think so, Harry, but I had never seen it or at least paid any attention to it. UNTIL NOW . . . . Rodney, that's for the link. Erik is doing an amazing job with it.
