    That DOES remind me of Speed Racer. The Japanese are making some very cool (and sometimes strange) kits.

    Don't feel bad, you did an excellent job. The best how-to description I've seen on using foil and foiling techniques is in Donn Yost's DVD: TIPS & TRICKS FOR BUILDING SHOW QUALITY MODEL CARS.
