  1. Cool, I will check it out, or maybe I've already seen it.
  2. I like the idea of the forward tilting hood.
  3. Good idea on the alcohol!
  4. Pins work as well. Great idea!
  5. Wouldn't a roll cage work in the convertible version?
  6. Excellent, you are clearly saving and restoring this one, and it's well on its way. Keep it going.
  7. Adam, I love it and I am sure it will end up in one of your wonderful dioramas! Or it could, if you wanted it to be.
  8. Excellent job. It's got great charm, this model. Great details too.
  9. Looks good. I remember when those came out I told a friend it looked like a Ferrari and he punched me! LOL!
  10. Javier, sorry to hear about the paint. Maybe you can get your brother, since they were his friends, to get you some replacements.
  11. Way to go, Silken. Put it to great use.
  12. Very cool, and the pictures are nice too.
  13. That's a wonderful model to use in a scene. Perfect.
  14. Great information.
  15. I hope so. I am sure they will keep improving the kit before it finally gets released.
  16. Nice work, keep it going, please.
  17. Wonderful pictures, and fabulous T-bird. Very nice.
  18. I saw you posted another round of pictures over in UNDER GLASS. These are the kinds of threads on this forum that are worth their weight in gold. Your craftsmanship and inspiration are highly valued here, John, and I hope you never forget that!
  19. Wonderful subject and execution. It's a keeper, for sure.
  20. Hey, buddy, you are making this one truly stand out. Great body work. It's going to look mighty fine, so pick your colors carefully, maybe do some test shots on plastic spoons.
  21. I hard top version would also be ultra cool.
  22. Another work of art, John. Like I've said countless times before, your work belongs in museums. Can't wait to see what you got cooking up next.
  23. I use Windex, let the parts soak over night after 3-5 rounds of zapping (or whatever it is this thing does) and then 3-5 the next day and my babies come out brand spanking new. I love this thing. Once you have 3-4 ABs it makes the work go faster. I use 2 ABs for acrylics and 2 for lacquers (which of course require cleaning first thoroughly with reducer or cheap lacquer thinner. Glad to see his thread bounce back to the light . . . thanks.
