  1. Thanks for the kind words, chaps . . . if you want to see more of it, here is the vid:
  2. Perfect, that would make a neat addition to a small diorama! A kid riding it down a sidewalk, etc . . . so cool. Great job.
  3. What a beauty. That interior really draws our attention. Excellent build! Congrats.
  4. Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate it. I keep thinking of one of the most important reasons I take photographs of the builds and the look at them closely, for the stuff I've forgotten like the reflector lights in the front . . . and I still have to put a couple of details in the engine bay . . .
  5. Just another round to show the mods . . .
  6. Just wrapped this one and I have to say no matter how you slice, chop, dice, cut, rip into the Revell 49 Merc. Geez, what it is about shiny paint and its ability to draw up lint and flecks of dust!
  7. A beauty all the way around. Gorgeous model. Congratulations.
  8. That's one gorgeous Ford. Congrats.
  9. Fabulous find. Yes, it's a great find. I'm always on the lookout for textured papers, etc . . . like gum wrappers and cigarette box innerds, stuff like that. Very cool, so thank you for sharing with the community. Hum . . . here's another idea, I wonder if painted with transparent black if that would not pass as pretty good carbon fiber?
  10. Love it, it's got all the family charm a family could ever need or want. Doctor Cranky loves it!
  11. Thanks, maties, yes, there will be more . . .
  12. Here are some simple results of two projects I am currently working on and I'm not too far off from finishing . . .
  13. Did you say "embossing powder," which I am very very interested in finding out how you did it, how you got such great results. I have some of that stuff here in different colors and I would love to find out. Didn't you have to use heat to melt the powder? And if so, didn't warp or melt the plastic? It's turning out fabulous.
  14. All great information, and there's always going to be lots of great choices for glues out there, thank heavens for that!
  15. Very cool . . .great job on making it look good.
  16. Doctor Cranky doesn't like the "Glues Blues" . . .
  17. Thanks, everyone. Yes, forgot to mention in the video that it's also perfect for doing headliners, trunks, you name it . . . And Harry, I am not a modeling genius, I am just a Lab-RAT-Ory technician!
  18. Enjoy and please let me know what you think:
  19. I really like this car. Great job all the way around.
