  1. I'm enjoying this paint job! Where did you get the buffing head for the Dremel?
  2. Very cool builds. Love 'em!
  3. Chuck, you are amazing. I love the fact that you take that hacksaw and go to work, and you always produce one-of-a-kind builds. Your imagination is at a premium, buddy. Great work. You keep raising the bar. I love this thing!
  4. Thanks, I've made contact with Joe and he's wonderful!
  5. You are hitting a HOMERUN with this one. Great gizmology and great imageneering! Keep it coming, chap. Take your vitamins and keep it going!
  6. Thank you, Aaron for the great leads. I appreciate it. Does anyone know if Slixx does custom decals?
  7. I like what you've done with it, but I gave mine away because it was such a pain!
  8. Greetings, folks, does anyone know of a reputable custom decal printer that turns out professional quality decal sheets at a reasonable price? I know it's a mouthful! Thank you in advance. Your Truly, Doctor Cranky

  12. You bet, Bill, and we'll go hunting for rust, junk, and gunk! LOL! Thanks for the kind words everyone!
  13. Wow, I am loving all these caddies. Nice. Great job everyone!
  14. Classy, wonderful build!
  15. Jim, I believe it's used mostly (as I use it) for sealing in the base coat in preparation for taping and graphics . . . it also helps (at least with the HOK line) to not have too much build up of the paint on the edges of the tape . . . it's a great asset for layering base coats and graphics . . . I also use it as a binder for pearls and flakes, etc . . . not for kandies . . . for that there's SG-150, etc . . . When in doubt, check the Tech sheets that HOK posts on their website.
  16. Here's mine: "The Devil's Cadillac"
  17. OH MY, you are really going over the top with this one . . . fantastic details all over the place.
  18. This it is, SG-100, is a great product in particular if you are going to do tape jobs, etc . . . but the way I've heard it described best is as a clear base coat, which still will require clearing . . . Thanks for all the kind words and comments, folks. Doctor Cranky is currently in the Lab-RAT-ory working on the next patient already, so stay tuned in . . .
  19. The people in Florida, in particular around Orlando where it will begin to hail for no apparent reason and who have convertibles have learned to speed up to about 150 and remain dry as they drive! Actually everyone down here with classic cars checks the weather every single time.
  20. Thanks, Russell. I used "Midnight Blue" from House of Kolor (air brushed), with pearlescence blue pearls mixed with SG-100 (airbrushed), then 4 coats of Dupont clear coat (Rattle can). Then lots of Cranky style spit shinin'!
  21. I love it. Totally elegant and classy, and the interior and engine really make the thing POP, high WOW factor to the whole thing. It's a keeper!
  22. Hum . . . who could possibly be the rider of this one:
  23. Something tells me this one is going to leave us all breathless. WOW!
  24. Beautiful truck. I likes it a lot!
