  1. Wow, some very exciting and cutting-edge work. I want to see more. Happy 2011!
  2. Tony, you did a great job, buddy. Bravo. Those look great and there's nothing like a body in progress up on those. Congrats.
  3. Excellent, and remember that once you get the hang of it, you'll not be able to stop! Also, show us how they turn out, please.
  4. Excellent work. Very cool. I love the weathering. Hope you will continue to share your work with us.
  5. I love it. Black and silver, you can't get any classier than that! Keep it going, chap.
  6. Oh man, that's fabulous. It reminds me of the great work of Roger Yu. You really hit a homerun with this one. Can you tell us a little bit more about it, the vehicle, the figures . . . ?
  7. Check out Celluclay, it's a great product that's similar to papier mache, but it will give you good results.
  8. Thanks, Harry. I have to say I'm looking forward to the New Year and getting back in to play some more with it . . . we'll see . . . where Cranky's mind goes . . . maybe it will continue to live and thrive in the gutter!
  9. Thanks everyone. Yeah, Harry, the pinups are there, but I can add more! I've had plenty of time now to look this one over and it seems to me that it has "movie set" written all over it, so the possibilities are going to be endless . . .
  10. LOL, I see . . .
  11. Thank you, and I am happy to report also that my Zombie figures arrived. I have to repaint them because they all have glow-in-the-dark flesh. I also have to remove them from the bases.
  12. 2011 is going to be the year that I will learn how to wire up mini lights . . .
  13. Yes, small lights like those . . . I am thinking of flex neck book reading lights . . . you can find them cheap at discount stores.
  14. Man, I love that picture . . . Shorpy is a great site!
  15. Mike, what I am after are special FX stuff like spot lights, but also maybe some green and blue glow lights, etc . . . I also want to try and have screens to soften up the light . . . we'll see when the time comes what will turn out . . .in the meantime it sure is fun to think about the possibilities.
  16. You known that porch could use a couple of those Cracker Barrel style rocking chairs!
  17. Also, folks, I'm looking into spot lighting. If anyone has photographed with reading book lights and have any tips, I'm all ears.
  18. That looks cool. A stack of tires like that for inside would be cool. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Wow, a base like this will always make all your models and pictures stand out. Nice display base too. Love it!
  20. Thanks, everyone. Jairus, that's very generous of you. Send it on down . . . My plan is to have a whole bunch of props that I can use to change up the look of the pictures . . . So all contributions to Cranky's Industrial Photo Op base are WELCOMED!!!
  21. Thanks, Tony . . . here's what you need to make your own jack stands . . . http://public.fotki.com/vsuarez666/voodoo-customs-chop-shop/misc/jack-stand-how-to/
  22. Oh that roof is going to make the whole thing pop. Very nice.
  23. LONG LIVE RUST, that's what Cranky says!
  24. Dr. Cranky wants to see more! Please.
