  1. Juerger--that brick work is first rate. Excellent job. I can't wait to see more. I can already see a couple of barrels in front of the locale! Take your vitamins and keep going!
  2. Not if you still have to go and work!
  3. I agree with Jim, it's a good one. Keep it going. I love the clean cut windows and doors . . .
  4. LOL, some of those are really funny. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Thanks, chaps, I will be back at the bench tomorrow morning to make more progress. Thanks for the kind words. Someone sent some cold weather down to Florida and Cranky's not happy about that!
  6. Nice build!
  7. Wow, you guys are great . . . coming up with lots of goodies I can use. Thank you!
  8. That one is cool too. Thanks.
  9. Thanks, Jon . . . great possibilities here. Perfect. I'm already clipping some like the American flag, etc . . . again, thanks.
  10. Folks, I am in the process of gathering lots of signage for my Industrial Photo Op base, so if you have something of interest, please send it my way . . . I already have plenty of bio-hazard signs . . . but what else? Thanks for the help in advance. Cheers, Dr. Cranky
  11. Take your vitamins and keep going. This one is going to be a winner. Plus you are having a blast!
  12. Thanks, James . . . yes, this one is going to have all sorts of details like that, including some cables and chains hanging from the ceiling, etc . . .
  13. That's very cool, and a rare bird indeed. I hand't seen one of these around. Great job.
  14. Wow, some amazing work. Great job on the top too!

    Das Bug

Love it! Great color choice too!
  16. Bradley, yes that's a good idea . . . I will work on the walls first before I do anything further to the doors . . . I think I will apply a little bit of rust here and there with a sponge . . . less is more, right?
  17. Tom, yes, I still have to go through everything and add a little bit of weathering here and there . . . which is why I say I am far from being done. Besides, this base is going to grow and change over time . . . I haven't even applied any washes yet!
  18. All of the elements are painted and so I'm mocking up a couple of rounds of pictures just to get an idea of where things need to be . . . (Keep in mind that all the interior elements are totally interchangeable, so you can really play around with this stuff . . . just like a dollhouse!) OH NO! Cranky's playing with dolls?
  19. a bit more . . . Nah, man, it can't only be seven days . . . I feel like this one has been going on for about 2 weeks.
  20. Here are the doors . . . I am not happy with the level of chipping. I think it's too much and the doors should not be so far gone . . .
  21. Thanks, Davey . . . I really appreciate it and I am honored by your words . . . I'm getting lots of progress done because once the painting is done, then the fun of super detailing will begin . . . you know, more oil and dirt on the floor, posters on the walls . . . some bits and pieces of furniture. A trash can or two . . . etc. . . etc . . .
  22. Mike, yes, the windows are see through, some glass (with a few cracks here and there) and also clear styrene . . . my intention is to put some clouds in the background so that they show in the pics . . .
  23. Aw shucks, Bradley . . . thanks, man, but that's what it's all about: sharing and having fun. Stay tuned in for more pics . . . OH and when you get going building yours, of course you will share lots of eye candy too!
  24. I have to say I don't mind it at all, sometimes a picture will help guide you or show you something that will help keep you inspired. I don't think it's rude at all . . . I mean, it's not like you are going on there and saying, OH LOOK AT MY BUILD IT'S SO MUCH BETTER, etc . . .
  25. Go for it, James . . . there's nothing like having a photo op that gets you excited about photographing your new models in a better light.
