As I have said before I worked with this back in 96 and the resolution is the same. The quality is better but almost 20 years it should be. I am not knocking printed parts just think it should be cheaper by now.

The cost of the first (master) compared to the resin , was what I was looking at. I know that the rubber does not last for long , I just do not know how many parts can be poured before it is junk. I also did not know that the warping was still a problem( I worked with SLA bottle models in 96) with the SLA printed parts. I was thinking that it would be closer to the same price for the printed part, thanks for the wake up call. So much for the parts getting cheaper the longer it is open to the public LOL . I know how all the casting works but never made more than a few parts that way at work before. The most we ever did was 20 to 25 of the same part.

All sarcasm John. But still better than the 1300.00 price tag that we see now and then for them.

I wonder if the speed was figured by measured skid marks and such?

Rob what would be the price of a printed part be compared to resin parts? You do not have to give numbers but I am wondering the price difference . Not that I will buy one but wondering for reference .

That was a good price for these old promos. Cheep enough to put a Hemi in one, and make it a street rod.

Just last Saturday I had my god daughters 12 year old over working on a model over her. He was older but I sure was nervous when he grabbed the knife. He had fun so that is what matters. But he was eyeing Uncle Andy's stash. Can we build this or this or this next? LOL

Someone posted that it went through a block wall or two before it hit the tree. There are pieces of block on the intake , it may be true.

They have to drive something to get parts. LOL

Does the story sound good if you say it hits a sapling? That would be no. It is all about the headlines that grab us. I posted this because of the damage that this car had and the fact that someone lived.

I was a bit skeptical about the speed they claim it was being driven, but it was a Hemi Car and no computer to shut it down.

Auston I get what you are saying but as far as TV shows go...... Starsky and Hutch 1975- 1979 Rockford Files 1974 - 1980 Yes they need to do something newer and older together . This would bring the collectors out to buy product. Dukes Of Hazzard 1979-1985 and that is over 29 years ago, but you know that one. LOL

From what I remember there was one Maroon car built , the rest were all White. I would just look to see what was the factory options for them. After they left the factory who knows what the racers did with them. They all had a different paint job.

That is one thing that I do not understand . The repeating of the same year or model as your competitor . One would think that with the fewer kits being sold you would not try to sell the same kit.

I wonder if they are just using the Linberg molds? I wonder if this is a new kit why not do the newer front end? The Torino looks Good. The Rabbit look Good . Over all a good selection . Some to build and some for parts for other models.

Looks better than out of the box.

The shed looks like it will make a nice work shop for both of you.
